Unlike Torie, I have called Webb a pervert. And I stand by it.

We can disagree on whether he is a pervert and still all oppose Webb. It's just that I also oppose him because IMO he is a pervert.

Let me make it clear. I know you're not. It was just a hypothetical that unfairly made it sound like you were. I should have been more clear at the time.

Argue that writing war novels of this kind is not preparatory to the Senate is a legitimate argument. Arguing he should not be in the Senate because this proves him a deviant is not.

I know of no culture that has Dads greeting their 4 year old sons by turning them upside down and putting juniors unit in Dads mouth. Kissing a babies penis and swallowing a 4 year olds are not analagous acts. More to the point there is no contextual reason for it in Webbs book. It is gratuitous crap used to sell books and evidently Webb is into gratuitous crap to sell books.
