Have a wonderful trip. Perhaps the motel will have free internet..many do now.
I will be gone a lot of the weekend.. will be in town but out & about a lot.. so my normal thread posting & disappearing act will occur
Hi there Sistahs... been gone a lot of today.. chiropractor (I have found at most ages pushing a van 1/4 mile isn't fun.. but at MY age & w/my back.. well, tore it up pretty good on Monday).. doggie walk, stores, dinner.. but DID PASS on movie as I am pretty tired!
Thanks for your comments..I am still toying with the major border.. I have a whole series of things to do with the Cat Tails theme & want one background/border to be the trademark.I have quite a few to chose from, but you know me..like the bright & bold.
That is a wonderful pix.. Lions are so regal. I loved the movie Narnia. Funny how cats all pose with their front paws crossed like that. Guess it is one of the many feline trademarks.
thanks for ALL your great comments & graphics.Just got in & scanned the tread briefly & true to form you have found so many cute things to share.
{{{{MAJ }}}}
oh my... a tecnicolor zebra! did you do the coloring on it.. I like it!
This st. Pats day in Cleveland in the parade were a pair oh horses that the owners had died green. I had Josy & Toby with me to view the parade & neither had seen anything as large as a horse before & were quite frightened.. I don't think the green helped much!
That is a wonderful graphic potlatch.. one of your originals?
No Dolly, but appreciate you thinking it! Believe I found it on a 'greeting card' site way back. Now they are using fewer gifs and more flash.
Save it and use it!
yes, it is funny re: the emails that arrive & often the very same one from LOTS of folks in one day. a good portion of my posts here begin as an email that I work up in one way or another. This one was pretty easy as the pix were already a good size & uniform
thanks.. I have not learned flash or gifs yet (dont have programs to do them).. so far I am content to just do regular picture editing
I have a lot of shots (that I have taken over the years) of cat tails.. they make a wonderful foreground with "whatever" in background.
I will find one or more & post in a bit.
But you can always save it in your picture files and post it as is, just like a regular graphic.
oh yes, I know that.. But just like when you get a jpg & "fix it up" .. modify it in some way to enhance it...I sometimes wish I had the program & know how to modify a bit some of the gifs
I dont believe it! you found a purple vacuum cleaner!
cute pix/work up on that one Billie.. and silly me.what do I get in addition from it? the projections on the frame remind me of the claws that no doubt in a micro second will be in babies leg!
Well, I started out oil painting so I do a lot of painting to modify things.
I probably have about 5 programs where I do different steps, like cutting things out and putting them together after the painting, etc.
Lol, my first 'gif' was just a change of color on a stationary object and I thought it was great!!
No, I didn't color that zebra. I would have if that hadn't shown up.
I have never seen a giant green horse! Poor kids!!
for almost any new project on the computer it seems the initial learning curve is quite steep. Billie & Snugs have given me their program titles for software. I hope to get one or more this winter & learn a few things..
Naaa, it's fun, trial and error. In the cold of the winter is a good time to stay inside and learn, lol.
There are many free trial animation programs to try out before you decide to buy. I did that but bought Jason's Animation Shop.
But the painting is a whole different thing.
Beautiful!!
Are those your dogs?
By painting.. is it like real painting? you start with blank canvas & make it all?
I do a bit of color change & touch up using the paint brush tool
Like the kittys in teh header (the white siamese) had various colors in background. Before I softenend the edges I made the color about the same as the table background.
NOW THIS does NOT take a lot of skill..well,maybe to do it better does..but the simple things I do I find hard to have a steady hand
