The Sci-Fi channel has a live Ghost Hunters show on tonight for the next five hours (depending on your time zone).

I watched the first hour or so, but had to go to sleep... I then picked up some of the last hour between 4:30 and 5:00am. Did anyone catch this? Was there anything of note happening?

Like you, I only watched the first hour or so before conking out. The only interesting part I saw, was where the lead investigator (bald guy) and his partner were down in the employee passageway below the hotel. There were some voices heard down in the small tunnel. Where was the hotel located, anyway? All I ever saw them show was the name of it.

I was a little bit put off by two other guys in one of the ballrooms, trying to coax the ghosts to make an appearance. Calling them cowards, or asking if they were, doesn't seem like a good way to make any progress to me. In my opinion, a sincere helpful approach would be more appropriate. Maybe ask the ghosts how they could be helped or something? I think that any real entities would know that the investigators motives were totally self-serving.

A guy at work thought the approach might work with some ghosts, depending on their personalities. This paranormal investigative stuff is not my area of expertise, so who knows. I do know these investigative groups are popping up all over the place these days. I wouldn't really call many of them them professionals, no matter what type of fancy equipment they have.

The results of the live show will be shown next Wednesday. I think the guys do too damn much talking and walking around. They need more cameras, more microphones and less people yapping. It never fails... when something is heard, it is usually while someone on the team is running their mouth. It's still a pretty good show though as they have no real competition.
