I'll be going now, my work is done here.
Yep, nothing like pulling an ad after it has already done its damage. Poor Harold, he thought this campaign was going to be a cornation, well, at least if you listen to him on Anus in the Morning.
I am sick of political ads period. It is all mudslinging with a few baby/veteran/church puff pieces where I am. Not one damned ad saying what they are going to do. My opponent sucks and I like babies. It is insulting to our intelligence.
How about I support/oppose border fences. I support/oppose flat tax. I support/oppose something other than convincing everybody my opponent has sex with goats on a spray painted pentagram while drinking the blood of babies.
You know, only the race obsessed would notice that. I didn't even think of the racial component until some pointy headed pundit had to mention it.
If some person were going to without their vote for Ford over possible 'race mixing' then they were never going to vote for Ford to begin with due to their cracker status. Heck on good summer I'm 3 shades darker than Ford.
Wussies -- then again, the national exposure has probably maxed out the ad's penetration value (npi).
Yes it is, but not to theirs...that's the problem.
Funny how we conservatives who are supposed to be the racists never notice race in a thing like this. It is the Dems who have to keep that issue alive.
In any case I don't know what's tacky. It takes on Ford and his lefty record very accurately.
FORD DATES WHITE WOMEN
GOOD LOOKING ONES TOO
LUCKY HIM
I am not opposed to "attack" ads. It's important to know what is wrong with the other guy. You attack them. I am talking about, my opponent was suspected of cheating in the third grade spelling bee kind of ads.
How about my opponent wants no restrictions on abortions, wants to raise taxes, doesn't share the values of the district instead of the crap we get on tv.
Damn. It was a funny ad.
How can that be? It wasn't the RNC's ad, it was an outside group. The RNC can ask that it be pulled, but they can't do it themselves.
Not before the ad did it's intended damage! :-)
LLS
They could have just changed that girl at the end to say something like,"meet me at the Playboy club".
The good congressman was trying to persuade the bunny girl to "come to Jesus."
Simply put, he's a liar. The Senate already has plenty of them.
Sadly...the truth is simply not popular... I like the ad.
Dang. I thought it was hilarious. Guess Ford just doesn't have a very well developed sense of humor. He could have gotten a lot of mileage out of being good natured about it, cracked a couple of jokes and then ignored it. Instead we got to watch him clench his jaw and wring his hands at the same time, not an easy feat.
