According to documentation that Rush read yesterday, there is a protocol that has had some success and is funded by Fox's own foundation. It is NOT about embryonic stem cells.

This is another case of Government by Sob Story and this is not the first time someone has played the Parkinson's Card. Janet El Reno used to get quite animated when she was facing the cameras after the Waco and Elian Gonzalez debacles. At the press conference following the latter, her movements were described by Howie Carr's former producer Virgin Boy as the Funky Chicken.

Never mind Rush. Where's John Belushi* when you need him?

*(One of Belushi's best-remembered bits from the original run of "Saturday Night Live" was when Joe Cocker was a musical guest. Belushi came out on stage during Cocker's number and did his impression of Cocker, including his highly contortionate stage demeanor.)

It's bad form to mock one's disability. Poor choice on Rush's part.

True, but it's worse form to trust the MSM over Rush. Poor choice on your part.

Actually heard Dana Reeve admit on Larry King that embryonic stem cell research has not proven to be effective for reversing paralysis.

She continued to support the research but at least admitted the truth as it pertained to paralysis and Parkinson's.

I am sorry that your mother has Parkinson's. Rush's website provided a link to Micheal J. Fox's website, which has a bigger excerpt from his book "Lucky Man". He mentions what you said about the movements that are caused by overdosing, but he says that when he wanted to illustrate the disease for appearances before committees, he made a deliberate choice to appear without medication.

As at least one poster mentioned and probable others Rush did not mock Fox's disability.....

You must be listening to the MSM's spin.........

Not to mention that he is perpetuating a lie about stem cell research. With full knowledge and consent I'd say. For money, too. What a creep. HE'S the one doing the mocking not Rush.

Too much trouble to get the video where Fox admits he doesn't take drugs or read his book where it's also admitted by him.

Now I have to waste more time writing to them as they skirt the real issue. I hate the mainstream media.

Amen! They're shilling for death as usual... our deaths; Whether by terrorists, abortionists... you name it.

Did they even show a clip of Boston Legal?

How do you like when Kuby testified in DEFENSE of John Gotti Jr.??? "Oh Mr. Gotti told me he was leaving the mob!" I thought that was the end of that show...I can just imagine what went on behind closed doors at that radio station. What a freggin` back stabbing mutt, the guy he is partners with on the air, and this effin` Kuby defends the dude who tried to kill him! What a freggin` slimebag.

do you think Fox overmedicated himself to appear in the ad? And wouldn't that be a dangerous thing to do?

No I don't think Fox deliberately over-medicated himself for the ad. My mother's neurologist explained that once you have Dyskenesia, it can get out of control, even if you take lower doses.

Typical Drive-by media behavior.

Of course, Rush predicted this yesterday.

He truly is America's Anchorman.

Rush isnt mocking anyone. He is just stating what Michale Fox himself admitted. That he stops taking his medications before making these ads.

"The opposite is true. You have Dyskenesia (uncontrollable movements) when you take too much Parkinson's medicine."

Okay, I'm confused. You take the meds because you have the shakes. But the medicine gives you the shakes. So you ADMIT going off the meds to exaggerate the shakes before congress. Then you don't shake on Boston legal, but you shake like a maraca on your commercial. And then there is outrage when someone accuses you of exaggerating your shakes in a political ad. He already has admitted exaggerating his shakes for political gain on a previous occasion.
Mr Fox has now achieved Chris Reeves status with me. At first I felt bad for him, then when he used his illness as a political weapon, he couldn't croak fast enough.

Ann Coulter was mercilessly attacked in the drive-by media, but this once again proves how right she is about Democrats' "human shield" strategy.
