Both Arnold and Angelides ARE liberals. No true conservative can vote for either one of them. There are downticket Republicans, solid conservatives - who do deserve California voters support next month.

Of course if he had a D beside his name, you wouldn't have taken that position would you? I don't think its right to advance the Democrats' agenda, regardless of the party affiliation of the candidate. You may have your reasons for voting for him, but I don't think it helps the CAGOP to give conservative backing to a Governor who has done nothing to earn it.

I'm of those who believes Arnold doesn't deserve our vote but other Republicans do. What has he done to show loyalty to the party? He can't even be bothered to campaign for other California GOP candidates!

You are 100% correct on this. And it will be 100% better for California (and the nation) to have Arnold (not Angelides) backed up by a conservative team. Those who are trying to convince people to stay home or vote third party are not doing us any favors.

I pray all Republicans and conservatives turn out for this election and send the liberal/socialist/marxist Democrats packing. Time to pull the plug on the America hating left. Voting straight R for America!!

I'm voting against Arnold. If Arnold wins, we lose. I had a hand in putting him into office; abstaining from voting will not remove him from that office.

Yes, Angelides will be a disaster for California. But if history is a guide, Arnold will act more liberally than anyone expects over the next four years, while Angelides will be less "left-wing" than we probably project. The main difference is that Arnold acts in MY name, and as long as he's in the statehouse, no other Republican has a chance to lead in California. He sucks the oxygen out of the GOP. How can that be good?

I'm sorry, but putting a Kennedy Democrat into the state house under the "GOP" banner destroys the CA GOP; it doesn't unite or build it. How can others defend putting Gray Davis staff in charge of the GOP? That is the net effect of reelecting Arnold, from my perspective.

Sometimes it does not matter what letter is beside a name, Its just a hard call to make. California has not given us much choices the last years no matter what office they are running for. I just cant seem to mark the ballot when i really know what kind of person they really are. I do a lot of praying and soul searching before marking.
