Mark, I'll type this calmly... here's what I think.
It's a given that not voting for Kean will enable Menendez to slither right back in. For me, it's all about keeping a Republican majority and Committee Chairs. Menendez won't help that a bit, in fact *of course* he will be extremely detrimental. True, Kean has no positive qualities beyond that, but in an election like this, that is IMPORTANT! I think it was Raster who said that Kean doesn't have to be thrown any bones by the GOP, and that is fine with me - in fact I'd prefer it.
Please consider this: I do NOT want impeachment proceedings against this president. That's another bottom line. Just ask Sean!!
Ok, you are on the sidelines, you are not in the fight everyday, you could be but choose not to be. I blame you for any loss. Next.
I know right. The NY thread was crazy, the Mets fans were there bashing Yankee fans, the Yankee fans were bashing Yankee fans... etc. I was for the Mets since we didn't make it... and my daughter had a knife to my back. It came in handy for someone I guess. Now if it were Yankee fans after a few Yankees players... I would like it more.
The Senate doesn't impeach, the House does. So, when Kean called for Hastert's resignation, he was weakening chances of keeping the House, not me.
Do you think Meirs would have quit or been asked to quit if Conservatives hadn't been outraged over her selection? IMO the whole thing ended much better when she dropped out and we got a conservative in her place.
Why haven't I seen a single defense of Rush here - all defending Kean? Rush carries the ball for the movement and the party every single day. Instead, I get these defenses of a jerk named Kean.
What happened yesterday?
By the way, re: border signing is Thursday by the pres.
I'm game. LOL
I've been telling everyone that for years.
Time to go. I won't be back.
Hugh, when?
Thanks for pointing that out, you are so right.
I still believe we need the majority and committee chairs in both houses. And I refuse to help Menendez in any way.
Care to explain.
LIEberman or Lamont dont' add a thing to the numbers of republicans, but you're wishing for republican losses.
Brilliant strategy.
Great one- did it ever occur to you that Kean is saying that to get elected, but once he does (if), he could move right? Dems do it all the time. There's way too much at stake here, I really don't think it's a good use of your time spending part of your show espousing the defeat of Kean. You have solely 9 shows before the election- please use your time wisely, firing away at the Dems, and Weiner. Thanks Mark
At times, I thought that may have been the plan all along. But I don't think it was appropriate to disrespect the President over it.
I have no idea how conservative she would have been, but unlike some others, I trusted the President's judgement on it.
I donate and write regular LTEs. I do what I can. You are the one that has the opportunity to make a huge difference, and yet you would do something this boneheaded.
I will do as I please.
promises promises
The shells are four stories high... we'll need the push brooms... don't touch the guac though.
I can only speak for myself, and as a NJ voter that's probably just my focus.
I admire your defending your friends, as you always do.
Too many people seem to misunderstand that the time to change horses is in the primary, not in the general election.
Case in point was McCain two years ago. He had no competition in the primary leaving us without a real choice but support him in the general election.
