Max Linn is a great pilot to land a rental plane from St. Pete's hub airport onto an Orlando interstate. I don't know of any nutcases who have pilot's licenses.Have you ever listened to Max Linn being interview?
He was on a radio station here in JAX for an hour and after hearing what he had to say, in my opinion, he is a nutcase and has no business being FL's Gov.
To: floriduh voter
Please note that I did not call him a "nutcase" but was quoting another (hence the italics). I do not personally know him nor have heard him speak even though I drive in front of his headquarters on a daily basis. My point was that his polling numbers are very minimal. Broward County is as bad or worse than Palm Beach County when it comes to liberal activists. I feel confident in the assumption that this decision has more to do with hurting Republican chances than "constitutional rights." After all, why didn't the Judge also open it up for Atlee Yarrow, Omari Musa and Karl Behm? They don't reach the 10% threshold either but would probably attract more Jim Davis voters if given more prominence.

Linn can ruin Crist with one comment.
And he'll do it with a smile on his face.

I guess I should explain what I think is going to happen tonight during the debate if Linn is there.
Back on 10-10 I posted this in the FL local page.
Anyone in NE FL happen to catch Max Linn on Andy Johnson's radio show yesterday?
Last time Max Linn was on I guess the whole Foley thing was just breaking open and Max made some comment that this would hurt Crist because, hes gay.
Yesterday Max was on the show again and a caller asked Max where how he knew Crist was gay; he comes back that Crist himself told him he was when they were at some .gov workshop for FL.
And he didnt say this as a passing comment; he went on about it for a good 2-3mins about it.
Now first off I don't believe what this Max Linn guy is saying, but this is some of the worst mud slinging I've ever heard.
I predict that Linn will (pardon the pun) out Crist as being gay at some point tonight, most likely if the Mark Foley story is asked about. It wont matter that Crist has already been confronted by the question and said hes not, the damage will be done because theres going to be a ton more people watching this debate than were listening to some no-name radio show.
Throwing a bomb like that during a debate will not of course get Linn elected, but will pave the way for Davis.

"Throwing a bomb like that during a debate will not of course get Linn elected, but will pave the way for Davis."
Which is the reason for Linn's candidacy. The dems desperately want to control Florida.

Yes, I realized that you did not call him a nutcase. I was just carrying on the ongoing discussion without backtracking and reading the entire thread. As it turns out, Max Linn did not get to debate but he's going to try to get into the NBC debate that is upcoming. Local radio interviewed Max Linn after he got the new ruling that threw him back out of tonight's debate.

Max is going to try to get into the NBC debate since he got kicked out of this one. Crist came across poorly tonight. His arrogance astounds me.

Given a choice between a gay divorcee lawyer with no kids, no house, and a tanning salon fetish and a Democrat, I'll take the lawyer.

Crist did fine, and did a lot better than Davis.

You must not know very many pilots.

He has a constitutional right to airtime in a debate that is funded by private entities? Heck, I want some airtime too! That's the beauty of being a judge. You can make it up as you go along.

Which explains why a Broward County Judge would force such a marginal candidate into the debate. There are a lot of idiots on the state court bench down here in South Florida, but ask any attorney who has appeared before him -- Leroy H. Moe is the king of the idiots. A true Moe-ron.

You can make it up as you go along. You have summed up Moe perfectly. That's exactly what he does. The Law of Moe in the Court of Moe, in and for Moe.

I'm an indy now which was my plan going way back. It feels good to never be taken for granted again by biggy small types. (all money, no brains).
Crist is arrogant. He's the one to watch, not my views of the primary. Gallagher could have campaigned more aggressively but he chose not to. I was pinged to this thread - I'm over Gallagher too. Over all of them. Things will be bad for four years and I'm hoping Adam Putnam runs for Governor in 4 yrs.
By the way, the debate will be replayed this Saturday around noontime for those who get Bay News 9.

Moe-ron: You have the right to play slots!
A judge ruled Tuesday that four Broward County parimutuel operations can begin operating slot machines July 1 even though the state Legislature has failed to enact rules for their use.
Don't stop the slots, even if there is no law governing their use. The amendment authorized slots, not gave people the right to play slots.
Moe-ron: You have the right to read autopsy files!
Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Leroy Moe upheld a previous ruling and ordered the Hollywood Police Department to release investigation files on the 1981 abduction and murder of 6-year-old Adam Walsh.
Moe-ron: You don't have the right to read autopsy files! Make up your mind...
"The right to privacy, the right to freedom of press and speech, the right of the people to have access to public records, and the right to be left alone are important rights to all who live in this county," wrote Circuit Judge Leroy Moe, according to the AP.
Moe-ron: You have the right to "quality of life" which means you can't live on the beach too. I mean thier quality of life and not your right to live there.
He said that Circuit Court Judge Leroy Moe upheld the constitutionality and legality of both charter amendments and is a victory for the quality of life of the citizens of Deerfield Beach. He thanked City Attorney Andy Maurodis for his efforts in fulfilling his professional responsibilities in defending the will of the voters.

wrote Circuit Judge Leroy Moe, according to the APSo much for whatever shred of credibility the AP has left. Moe probably hasn't written more than a postcard in years. The attorney for the prevailing side always prepares a written order for him to sign (admittedly, this is not an uncommon practice). That attorney could put basically whatever he wants in front of Moe, and Moe will sign it.
