Savage has also given 10000 dollars to the soldiers locked up in camp Pendleton.

I love Savage!
and Rush,......... and Hannity, ..........and Levin, and Ingraham. I listen to them all but none exclusively.

He had Chuckie on because Chuck was on his side in the Dubai Ports World deal.

I just think his tone is pretty harsh and a turn off. He is already saying that those marines are innocent when he doesn't have all of the facts that the officers involved in the case have. I hope they are innocent and I know they have such a tough job. But there are so many very outstanding marines including those that have to bring punishment to those who messed up. I just wish he would calm down a bit and also not demean Rush and Sean Hannity who are doing a great job and do come down on the republicans when they are wrong.

"Savage is an idiot. He has a pearl here and there but cancels it out 4 minutes later. There are so many more worthwhile programs out there. Salem Radio isn't available in every market.. but you can get their offerings on the internet.
Use your time more productively. Listen to Hugh Hewitt"

You just gave yourself away. Hugh Hewitt is a big Bushbot, thus I suspect you are the same and would therefore consider Savage an idiot, as he does not believe Bush is truly a conservative, an opinion I subscribe to. I think Bush is more like a Rockefeller Republican w/a couple of truly conservative areas of thought, but not many. I have listened to Hewitt quite a few times, and enjoy his program; however, he toes the party line, whereas Savage goes to the beat of his own conservative drummer. I like individuality, thus I like Savage. He's not as cookie- cutter-like as some of the other conservative talk radio hosts. Plus he's tells wonderful stories, making the mundane into the magical. A verbal master.

LOL!!!

Savage is an idiot and a fake. Savage is no conservative. He is just a lunatic. He is attempting to make Buchanan look reasonable. He is an embarrassment and I regret each hour he is on the radio.

Does that give me away any more. Gees. Brown.. now thats masterful..

You have a great talent for hypberbole. Think you can come up with a few more to add to lunatic, fake, idiot, embarrassment? I'm sure you can. Of course the more you do so, the more you lack credibility with your comments. But, have fun, paint a few more layers on thick, to further diminish your opinions.

Logic challenged, eh?

I empathize. Sometimes the truth hurts.. Its not about my credibility. Savage destroys his own every day on his show. He contradicts himself with in minutes.. goes off on bizarre tirades filled with hate and rage and little else. Smoke, heat but no fire.. and no content. If you love his ideas.. stay home from the polls like he suggests. Unbelievable.

The only evidence is the word of teh enemy. I happen to agree with him, but I'm afraid our PC war strategy is getting in the way.

I find that hard to believe...the marines know the enemy lies all the time. I had heard reports that another US serviceman is invovled in implicating the marines in that case. I hope it's not true...but you sound like you haven't even looked into it at all. Am I wrong?

I only wished the republicans had their version of Michael Savage. Imagine, a parody radio show of a liberal. He could advocate jailing all christians, opening the borders, raise taxes to be able to buy a prayer mat for every American in order to stop Islamofascists from wanting to kill us.

Michael Savage is NO conservative. He only plays one on radio. He's a Norman Lear Conservative. Nothing more.

For the type of format he has he's ok. Sometimes funny but Phil Hendrie is much better when it comes to Satire Radio.

You have to give the liberals credit. Their Michael Savage character sure does scare a lot if Americans.

I have looked into it, and I can't find anything that seems to say they are guilty.

They got one guy to flip by offering him a light punishment. After they had shackled these guys in tehir cells, that seems like an attractive offer. So he tells them what they want to hear.

We need to forget about punishing our troops for doing their jobs and kill the enemy. Get some of our artillery out of there, but send in more Special Forces. Kill al-Sadr and stamp out his army. Drive the terrorists back to their stronghold in the Triangle of Death and then bomb it back to the Stone Age (not a very long trip.)

After we've subdued the enemy and won, then we can worry about punishing our troops for any inappropriate actions if such punishment is merited and then we can make it policy that "when teh Iraqis stand up, we will stand down." But not until then. Until then, we have a war to win. Let's get the job done.

I aggree that we need to win this war decisively for our survival as a country. But that doesn't preclude making sure the rules of warfare are followed. I don't think that has ever changed in all the wars that we have fought. That's one of the big things that separates us from the wacko enemy.

He is NOT recommending staying home from the polls now. Liking Savage doesn't mean one doesn't have one's own take on subjects. As Rush says, we are not mind-numbed robots. I don't agree w/everything Rush says either. However, Bushbots verge on being mind numbed robots (hence Bushbot), and I'm afraid you may be one of them. Sure sounds like it.

Savage changes his tune daily. If he says one thing today, it will be the opposite tomorrow. He was on this big rant about how Republicans can't be found in front of a Flag anymore. Or saying the Pledge of Allegiance. And, thats just crap. But knowing Savage.. he will take it back a week from now. His schtick has gotten old.

I personally think Bush will go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents but this is yet to be seen. I don't always agree with him but I understand that he charts a path based on what he believes is best. This is all one can ask from a political leader.

I don't care how much you think my mind is numb. What you call numb, I call self control, insisting on reason, fact and rational thought. There are several voices out there who take the time to think first and then say something. And this doesn't mean you have to be bland and without edges to get into this class. One of the most important intellects out there has turned out to be Anne Coulter who just loves to stir the pot. But, her identification of the unquestionable spokesman has provided the tools to take Michael J. Fox's deceptive commercials apart. Savage just isn't contributing.

I know a freak when I hear one and Savage has made it into that territory. Territory owned by the likes of Keith Olbermann, Jeanine Garofalo and Al Franken. You obviously like him because he expresses pure hate and frustration and will say anything when he is on a rant. I call that embarrassing.

"You obviously like him because he expresses pure hate and frustration and will say anything when he is on a rant. I call that embarrassing."

Speak for what comes out of your own brain and mouth, not what comes out of mine. You just concocted a blatant lie by stating the reasons I like him as being because he spews hate and frustration. I don't believe Savage spews hate; he speaks his point of view which is most clearly different from yours.

You've obviously got a bug up your arse about Savage that makes it impossible to have a rational dialogue with you about him. You, it appears, have some of those very same traits you accuse Savage of. Intractability, and an irrational hatred. Primarily, I suspect, because you are a died-in-the-wool Bushbot. There's nothing left to say to you, as it's pointless. Time to drop the subject.

mmm... lets see. You say I am being irrational for noting that you do not recoil at Savage's ranting. This is despite a whole thread of folks mostly agreeing with my feelings about this.

You offer as proof of my irrationality, Name calling. Oh well. This is where we started.

As always, I am happy for the record to speak for itself. I am a Bush fan and a proud Republican and I don't see those as sins in the least.

I will spend my time.. pushing to get Savage off of the air in Cincinnati.. and thats the best I can do.
