Time will tell on Cranston.
Even as a child, I knew about that piece of work and I despised him.

I saw those. A treasure trove, for sure!
How would you flush a KGB mole out of the Democratic Party? It isn't looking for a needle in a haystack. It would be looking for a bit of hay in a haystack.
Seriously, what would a KGB mole do? Get the Democrats to push for stealth socialism? The Pubbies do that half the time. Get the Democrats to sow defeatism? Pat Buchanan does that every time.
What would a KGB mole do?
Wonderful post!
Well, KGB would refer to actual espionage activity, as opposed to pushing socialistic public policies, and I suppose they could still engage in espionage activity (though it'd be cheaper for them to just read the NYT). . .but your point is taken. A friend from France who moved here once told me that he could see no significant difference between the French socialists' policies and the Democrats' policies, the only difference was that the Democrats didn't call themselves "socialists".
A mole that corpulent is too big to run over with a truck. Better get the combine.
Just like his dear old dad, Teddy loves to felate the totalitarian thug.
Thanks for the additional info. When I found that link some time back I cut and pasted the info to my archives because I know those links are sometimes difficult to access again. I think I found that by searching on one of the antiwar groups mentioned in the article, and I just happened to come across a Google link that worked at that time.
Or the harpoon. . .
Thanks for posting that link--useful article.
Thomas is tricky to link to. Most URLs that you see in your address bar expire after a short period of time (hours, or less). Also, because of the way their database is configured they only allow you to go to the "document" level, not the exact page. Here is a good resource on how to create links to various types of info at Thomas:

bump for congressional hearings on Kennedy's KGB connections.
I finally got here!
Glad you liked it......
I think the clown parodies are a big hit!
Yeah, well, you got handled, Jamie. You start yapping about a Soviet KGB mole to these guys, they're all going to develop mass amnesia real fast. Cranston will tell you he spent the entire week in Maine.
LOL. Yeah, I found it kind of odd that no one Dettmer questioned appeared to be capable of checking the newspaper coverage of Carter's visits to California, Carter's appointment books, or Secret Service records of Carter's itinerary. Classified top secret, I guess. . .
don't miss this - ping
