"Our choice is between a publically immoral, Christian persecuting, traitorous, thieving Democrat or a privately immoral, Christian using, traitorous, thieving Republican."

That's a pretty broad brush you are painting with there.

This is just stupid. Why do so many Republicans have such difficulty with simple logic and comprehension? I swear sometimes I have to wonder if they are thinkers or parrots.

The GOP is far from perfect but let us list some facts:

1. It freed two countries from oppression and has aggressively took on terrorists around the world.

2. The mastermind who planned 9-11 was captured and countless other terrorists have been killed through the aggressive approach of the GOP and President Bush.

3. The deficit has been cut by more than half.

4. The economy is booming due to the Bush tax cuts.

5. We have two new conservative supreme court Judges and countless other appellate judges throughout the nation appointed by President Bush.

6. They did pass a border control fence and provided new funding for border protection.

7. They are not Democrats.

If you are disappointed with the GOP you need to take a moment to think about what the Democrats would do better and I would venture there is not one thing they would've done better. Not one. So grow up and quit acting like this is a perfect world. I get frustrated like all of us do. I would've bomb the hell out of North Korea after they set off that Nuke test but we can't even get our current Administration to speak strongly to the little dictator. If some disappointed Republicans and conservatives want to go back to giving out signed basketballs to leaders of oppressed nations and terrorist states then by all means vote Democrat and give the GOP a spanking. The RHINOs will just use it to try to fragment the party and really demean the conservatives. Show them the power of faith and win this election! Not for the GOP but for our soldiers and our country!

A party base that's mad as hell and no longer willing to rationalize GOP failures.

She obviously hasn't read some of the threads on FR. I haven't seen this many apologists since Neville Chamberlain's family reunion.

You're too lazy to do your own research? Or do you enjoy spreading the DNC propaganda?

I agree that the auto-Republican bias should be set to off. How I translate that is to never vote for the other side but withhold voting for the loser-RINO if the good guys party stands with him. No way would I vote for someone who is for open borders, gun controls, etc. Vote for the other seats (judges, state and local and any propositions) and vote against any bond issues, but never cast a ballot for a RINO even if it means by default that Pelosi will be Speaker.

If Conservatives are taken for granted (no where else to vote) then they are finished. Who cares how the media portrays the outcome: the message is to the GOP lest they take us for granted.

Anybody who is madder at repubs than they are at democrats - has rocks for brains.

The dems have been trying to undermine their very own president and their very own country - because they are so power hungry they will do ANYTHING to get their power back.

Dems have VOTED AGAINST every national security issue - they gleefully chided "WE KILLED THE PATRIOT ACT" - the very laws which gave our police the tools necessary to stop terrorism. It has proven itself very effective - along with the NSA progam which the liberals labeled - A DOMESTIC SPYING PROGRAM - which was of course a BIG FAT LIE.

And .. the democrats want America's Constitutional laws to apply to people who want to murder us - and they aren't even citizens - so they are not entitled to any of those protections.

Why is it people expect the repubs to be PERFECT - but excuse and ignore all the horrible and dangerous and despicable things the democrats have done to President Bush and every other repub on the planet.

And .. just who in hell is going to get a spanking if people won't vote .. WE - THE AMERICAN PEOPLE - WE'RE THE ONES WHO WILL SUFFER - NOT THE POLITICIANS. Anybody who can't see this is totally ignorant.

"Spanking" the repubs is really sending ALL OF AMERICA to hell. We have to put up with all the gross legislation the democrats are going to try to foist upon us. THEY ALREADY HAVE THE LEGISLATION WRITTEN - THEY'RE JUST WAITING - TO GET BACK IN POWER.

FIRST UP - They are going to allow the tax cuts to EXPIRE - I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT INCREASING MY TAXES BY 58% IS NOT EXACTLY WHAT I WANT FOR MYSELF OR ANYBODY IN AMERICA. Those tax cuts have spured the economy and when they are removed - our economy is going to start tanking - CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHO THE HELL WILL GET SPANKED - IT ISN'T THE POLITICIANS.

The next two items in the democrats' agenda is - DEFUNDING THE WAR - RANGEL ALREADY HAS THE LEGISLATION WRITTEN. He's also already written a bill to force military service on all those 18-42 years of age. We don't need that - military recruiting levels are above recruiting goals.

The next little package of joy is THE IMPEACHMENT OF PRESIDENT BUSH and VP CHENEY. Why - so PELOSI WILL BECOME PRESIDENT - OR WHOEVER THE DEMS CHOOSE TO TAKE THAT SPOT. Do people even know that the 3rd person in line for the WH is the Speaking of the House ..??

Are people that ignorant and really stupid to want this to happen ..?? DID THE POLITICIANS GET HURT BY ANY OF THAT LEGISLATION .. NO THEY DIDN'T .. YOU AND I GET HURT THE MOST - SO THANK YOU TO ALL YOU NON-VOTERS FOR SPITTING IN MY FACE UNDER THE GUISE OF PUNISHING THE POLITICIANS. [YES, I'M YELLING - and if you don't like it - then the shoe must fit you.]

I intend to stop the democrats from returning to power - and I will crawl over broken glass to vote to KEEP THEM OUT OF CONGRESS AND THE WH.

LET'S ROLL!!!

Actually, the party in PA, with the help of the national party, quashed all attempts to hold real primaries in several races; not the least of which was the Senate Race in 2004....and most recently, the Governors race. The Republican controlled state legislature also worked hand in glove with the Democratic Gov to pass an absolutely egregious payraise for state government...making PA pols the second highest paid in the nation, but in the aggregate, the most expensive legislature in the nation.

The Republican party, particularly in the state of PA, is filthy, rotten, putrid to the core. We can't wait to clean this mess up.

Until such time as the party machine at the local, state and national levels learns to keep their grubby mits off the primary, the general must be fair game. We will do what we have to do even if it's in the general.

I'm not sure how electing a democratic congress strengthens the GOP.

And I'm not sure having a GOP that's only marginally better than the Dems is good for the country.

I am sick of this effin ignorance... "I'm not gonna vote. That will show them!"
A non vote for a republican is a vote for a democrat. Unless there is a libertarian that has a chance of winning, I would rather a republican than a democrat any day. How is putting a democrat into office and screwing yourself going to 'get them?'

The voters of your state ALLOWED that to happen....."Good Ole boy" GOP supported RINOs were only choices in the primary. Drafted Tom Coburn and he's not in D.C. to play nice.

If Oklahoma can do it, surely your state can.

I agree

So my choices are:

In some cases hold my nose and vote republican or not vote, (or vote Demonrat,) for a completely debauched party and do immeasurable damage to my country.

Not a hard choice for me. The time to make your voice heard is in the primaries folks.

Sure, let's spank the Republicans and then sit back and take a "beating" from the Democrats--even if it "only" for 2 years, which is what the "enlightened ones" thought in 1954, AND FOR THE NEXT FORTY YEARS!!!.

Makes sense to me. NOT

I have issues with the Republicans but the Democrats are very very dangerous to let in power....my absentee ballot is filled out with all R's...Gotta be pragmatic you can't get everything you want and you got to vote for the important things republicans do good at and that is national security.

Here we go again... More supposed conservatives that did not learn the lessons of Ross Perot. Ok you explain to your grandkids who will be fighting our enemies within the borders of the U.S.A. that you failed to stop it when you had the chance.

They've already forgotten the 8-year embarrassment known as Clinton that we got for those who "were gonna teach the GOP a lesson" by voting for a POS like Ross Perot.

I see you're still here trying to trash the GOP. You've been doing it since the day you signed up.

Just like a lot of us thought, you're a troll.

You go ahead and put your personal agenda before the rest of the country; the rest of us will be doing what we've been doing for years; trying to bring this country back where it belongs since the Democrats trashed it for 40 years.
