"While the Republicans have done nothing significant"

I've heard this lie before, but I guess if you repeat it long enough it must be true....NOT!

This clown McNickle needs to read the Seattle Times story several posts above this one about how Pelosi swore to "take him down", meaning Bush, regardless of the consequences. We don't need that Shiite in Washington running things.

Well, too late for me to "send the GOP a message". I already voted for them, straight GOP ticket. I've got a governor's race here in Ohio that's TOO DARNED IMPORTANT to me to vote for retreat-and-defeat DemocRATS. If conservatives would have gotten off their collective butts and campaigned in the primaries against these RINO's that let us down, we may have saw some change and this "deliver a spanking" crap would be moot.

Since that didn't happen, I'm not for handing this country over to the DemocRATS who will do far worse. Now, more than ever, too much is at stake and I'm not willing to turn this country into the hands of hateful, "no-plan-except-cut-and-run", embolden the terrorists, DemocRATS.

Do what you think you've got to do. I already did what I had to do.

I am your typical Republican "supervoter." .... But I'm seriously considering ending that streak this Nov. 7. ...

I'm also a contrarian -- a conservative with libertarian leanings. Combine all these characteristics.........
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

And you get a Ross Perot voter.

What a sickening revolting situation our country is in. Our choice is between a publically immoral, Christian persecuting, traitorous, thieving Democrat or a privately immoral, Christian using, traitorous, thieving Republican. The rallying cry has become "if you don't vote for us and our maggot candidates, then you will get their stinking rotten maggot candidate instead." There is another choice. Don't vote for a maggot and hasten the day of reckoning, so we can start over.

If you're going to call me a liar then you'd better be able to back it up. Where have the Republicans reduced the size and scope of the federal government?

If the country was going to be turned over to Zell Millar and Sam Nunn rats, I would say SPANK AWAY. BUT!!! There is no way in hell I'll help the traitors and pchyopaths in the current RAT party run anything for a few years.

So by making Nancy Pelosi speaker, we somehow advance the conservative cause? What if the Dems return to power and we can't get it back for another 40 years? I'll be 70 by then.

So much of what you say about the "off the reservation" mentality and actions of this so-called Republican crew is true. On the other hand, my fear for the country in the hands of the Democrats outweighs my disgust with the Republican leadership. If, per chance, we retain the House and Senate, the so-called Leadership should resgin those roles and take a seat for someone who has the courage of his convictions.

The LIE was "the Republicans have done nothing significant", not "the Republicans have not reduced the size of government."

"And what could be more stupid than that?

I can think of two.

1. Allowing the RATS back in power.

2. Allowing the leftstream Media to manipulate us into sitting out this election.

The general election is not the place for this crap. Punish the bastards in the primary elections. Have you ever heard the phrase "cut off your nose to spite your face"?

Well, CG there's a tell tale reality that conservatives vote issues and vote with their head, NOT their emotions.

This whole approach by cut and run "conservatives" is insanity.

It's saying to Repubs "I'm not voting for you, but my not voting will by default enable DemocRATS to win the election

WHO HAVE OBSTRUCTED OUR AGENDA OF COURT APPOINTMENTS,

WHO WILL RAISE OUR TAXES,

WHO HAVE SOLD OUT OUR NATIONAL SECURITY WITH LEAKS,

WHO HAVE PUSHED FOR THEIR AL QUEDA BILL OF RIGHTS,

WHO HAVE SOUGHT TO CRIMINALIZE CONSERVATISM WITH TRUMPED UP CHARGES...

ETC. ETC. ETC.

Is this what you people want???

My view of you type of people is that YOU are the ones needing a spanking. Not to mention a serious brain transplant. May God of heaven save us from idiots like you.

The ideological puritans remind me of why the Libertarian party left me. They also remind me of the lunatic fringe on the left. Not with their idea of government, but the farther they go from the center, the less likely they are to ever be electable.

Vote with the Republicans, but hold their feet to the fire when they swing too far to the center.

Yes, I agree. But as you can see, the majority of posters here do not agree. The country was born in Pennsylvania, it will be reborn in Pennsylvania. The day of reckoning is November 7th. Those of us who've worked tirelessly to move the party to the right, only to find ourselves "watered upon" have absolutely had it. As Colin said, we're mad as "h-e-double toothpicks" and we're not going to take it anymore.

Where was their urgency to elect conservatives in the PRIMARY???

YES! Thank you! That was the time to "clean house" and "deliver the spanking".
