Our least favorite liberal parrot flaps in from DU to leave more droppings on the floor. Shoo, parrot.
Then who would raise your blood pressure and aggravate your ulcer? Besides I like it here.
She's a government bow-wow for the MN Department of Labor. Next question ?
I did think it through and I respect the fact that Costco is a private business that can do make whatever policies they want.
This is not a rights issue, this is some guy whinging about a stores policy. Call a whambulance.
You're absolutely right.
Threads such as this one serve to inform others of what Costco is all about--and it isn't just Costco's liberal hatred for and fear of the Second Amendment.
Crime happens everywhere
Obviously a highly intellectual and motivated person to be able to latch onto a job at MDOL./snicker
Uh, maybe the same reason a person would feel the need to carry a concealed weapon into the Luby's Cafeteria in Killeen, TX? Or maybe the MacDonalds in San Ysidro, CA?
If you have a permit, there is nothing they can do about it anyway. If it is kept concealed, they never need to know...
I can go anywhere with a concealed weapon and if nobody sees it, they don't need to know.
The concealed carry incident is a merely a symptom of an underlying liberal disease.
I shop at the Corporate head quarters branch and they have no sign that Im aware of. I really dont care if they did.
If you are carrying a CONCEALED weapon, who is going to know? The silly sign means nothing...
Some states do not have the sign option. They probably ban guns in the states they are allowed to.
name a business that DOES allow firearms on its premises.
what kind of a nut walks into a public place carrying a loaded weapon?
How did they know he was armed?
It was cool outside, so I was wearing a heavy flannel shirt over my polo shirt and shoulder holster. I was carrying my usual Para-Ordnance P-14, with a stainless finish. As we came in I flashed the membership card to the greeter, and paused to take off my flannel shirt.
This is in the first paragraph of the article. I don't think it's a Concealed Carry issue, but more of an open carry issue. If he would have left his flannel shirt on, his weapon would have been concealed, and most likely not have upset other customers.
Most Freepers laud the military's ban on gays, but bemoan Costco for making a decision to ban firearms on their premises?
Oh, really?

Studies, eh? This does not pass the smell test. Were these union funded studies perhaps?
A policeman, a Marine, an armored car driver, a park ranger, a judge, a district attorney's investigator, a parole agent, a member of Congress, a private detective, your grandmother, anybody...
