Wow! Is there anyone writing today that tells it better than Mark Steyn?
To: fanfan
I own the book. He autographed it to me with the phrase I wanted.
But I haven't actually started it. That's this weekend's project.

Yeah, you can get it at Steynonline.com. I ordered it last Friday and it arrived Monday. How's that for fast?
You can ask him to autograph it anyway you like.
I requested:

Wisdom defeats stupidity every time it's tried
Best wishes,
Mark Steyn
And that's how it arrived!

Steyn definitely has a way of making you laugh, while telling you that you are about to die.

Humor is often the thing that gets people to accept rather than reject dire situations.
Once the situation is accepted, you can actually do something about it.

Once the situation is accepted, you can actually do something about it. That's what PC is taking away from us, the ability to use humor to make our point. Among other things.

Thats true.
Humor, common sense and pragmatisizm, all being fertile common ground are all being stripped away by PC and we are becoming polarized in our views of life
