That's not so good.
Hopefully it's straightened out by Thursday.
Yes true. Two I switched before the race were still charged. Don't know by now if they have it rectified or not.
And they fixed the drivers too!!!
only half listening....
I knew Dalenna was involved but not to that degree.
The funny part was her at home.
Said every Wed night is family night - only she does not know how to cook. Wants her family to come over - and cook. "What do I know about cooking? I eat!"
The best one was while she was doing laundry....
"You have to be rocket scientist to operate the washing machine."
They are probably still dancing in the streets.
I give a high five to BL and KP for the top tens. Particularly BL who was on my FRFL team!!
I love the Harvicks, they seems to be a great couple. I love the practical jokes Kevin has played that they showed on Nascar 360. One time he filled Delana's Dad's [may he rest in peace] truck with rubber balls.......so when he opened the door they all came tumbling out.
Then Delana tried to get him back months later with a false interview where the reporter and the camera crew got into an argument and Delana came in they started yelling at her. Kevin got up and said "you guys gotta do better than that" and started laughing!!
Did they show his dog? Last time Kevin was asked to clean the dog poop out of the garage so he takes a shovel and takes it to the back yard and heaves it over the fence. LOL
I suffered through parts of it because I wanted to see what they said about Jr's spin. Unfortunately I missed that part, probably for the best.
Brian should try to buy a personality with his winnings from Talladega. [ouch]
While I'm at it, Dave ThePains show Sunday night was aggravating to say the least. They get Jeff and Jr on there and all DEPain wants to talk about is Dale Sr's death........Jr is tired of these questions people. Stupid questions, missed every opportunity to talk about the Chase, the cars coming up etc. The only good thing was Jeff saying he saw the cr@ppy equipment Jr used to drive when he was young.....Jr said I'm glad I have a witness to that. LOL So many folks think he got everything handed to him and they couldn't be more wrong!
Here is what Kyle Petty said about Jr's spin.....Jr said he dialed in the rear brakes on the caution before that and probably shouldn't have.
Isn't it a little LATE for this.......?
Dodge and Chevy to change models in 2007: Beginning in 2007, Dodge and Chevrolet will campaign new models in Nextel Cup competition, Yahoo! Sports has learned. Dodge will run the Avenger, while Chevrolet will run the Impala SS, according to sources with some of NASCAR's manufacturers.
The change also was indicated in a technical bulletin distributed to all teams last week. Both Dodge and Chevy soon will announce that they have been given approval by NASCAR to change to the new models, with Chevy's announcement possibly coming as soon as this week. According to the sources, the stock car version has been approved for use by Dodge teams for both the current Nextel Cup car as well as the Car of Tomorrow version, starting next season. The switch from Monte Carlo to Impala could signal the end of the Monte Carlo name from the Chevrolet lineup, as its rear-drive design is used on its model alone and at the present time, no replacement is on the drawing boards at GM. However, unlike its Dodge counterpart, the Impala SS will only be used by Chevrolet teams for their Car of Tomorrow, according to sources.
Manufacturers and NASCAR also are continuing to move forward with plans to change all of the models used in the Busch Series, perhaps as soon as the 2010 season. That change would put smaller, sportier models into competition, like the retro-designed Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger as well as the Toyota Solara.(Yahoo Sports)(10-24-2006)Jayski
Martinsville overnight TV ratings down: NBC's broadcast of Sunday's Subway 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Martinsville Speedway earned a 3.5 overnight Nielsen Media Research rating and a 7 market share, Street and Smith's SportsBusiness Daily reports. The 3.5 represents a 7.9% drop below the 3.8 NBC earned overnight for the 2005 race.(SceneDaily.com)(10-24-2006)http://www.jayski.com/cupnews.htm
Does anyone think Almendingy will boost the ratings this week at Atlanta? At the expense of Bill Elliott!!
LOL, I suffered through it to watch Bobby.
Depain did try and stir it up between Jeff and Jr, but they didn't bite.
Hi ST......we got winter sort of.....and now the remnants of a cane on the way all in one week.....should get interesting!
TMS is within the 15 day forecast and the truck race Friday night looks downright chilly. 45 degrees with a 180 mph breeze make for a pretty serious chill factor.
Hey. that #8 truck has no gas cap.
BTW, what kind of Chevy is your last post? Is it for real? Whatever, it is beautiful.
