This is the first I have heard of this. I have seen company after company leave this country, not because of high labor cost, but because of the tremendous tax shelter they receive by leaving the country.
They instantly get rid of their payroll taxes (social security matching, unemployment insurance, workman’s compensation, etc., etc…) federal, state and local taxes. Sure, they run into higher production cost because of unqualified labor, rework, shipping and receiving, etc., etc… but this outweighs their tax burden to do business in the states.
It is also easier to hide your income out of this country and your money goes further. These high taxes are neither friend to the business man nor any American.
No the guy that won one of the Survivor seasons I think. Still whenever I see the name I think of Battlestar Galactica and Apollo as well.

What will be his punishment?
Nothing. Laws are for the little people. Sorry, I couldn't resist ;-)
Thanks, lockbox. As a non watcher of (and seldom even reader about) so-called "reality" TV the name meant nothing to me.
