Joel Hefley is clearly not a follower of Ronald ReaganWho stated the 11th commandment:
"Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican."
Why bother? They aren't known as the Stupid Party for nothing. And they seem hell bent on proving it this year.
Hefley only sends form letters to his constituents and his staffers rarely if ever return phone calls. He's a little ticked off that his pet didn't get the bid. The GOP has almost entirely ignored this race. This is probably due to the fact that we have never been represented by a Demoncrat. However, we are being Kalifornicated on a daily basis in spite of the heavy miltiary presence.

I just sent an email to Tom Tancredo, whom I've known for over twenty years.I've asked him to talk some sense into Joel about being a Reagan republican.
The state party screwed the pooch two years ago by not closing ranks
and we have a Democrat for US Senator "Salad Czar"
bttt
I am seeing this more and more around the country.
The Republican party's worst enemies seem to be from within the party. It seems everytime the media wishes to stress some leftwing point, they quote some Republican politican.
Ten terms
Plenty of people have talked to Hefley, I'm sure.
He is and has been one of the few Republicans who will not break with his perception on this race or his principles. He has stood up against President Bush and the House GOP leadership a few times and once he's made up his mind I doubt that's going to chanage.
When it comes to speaking ill of republicans, it looks like it is going to be hard to top the Christian Coalition and Club for Growth.
I read a while ago that Hefley wanted the GOP to hold the Congress, so he would work to keep us in power.
He seems to be backing up from that goal.
McInnis could talk some reality into him. But Scott has generally walked away.
Sad.
Hefley will likely not listen to anyone else.
We can still win this, but it will take alot more effort and money...
Will this be Hefley's legacy ?
We need information to choose wisely
I have met Hefley .
He was ok, but no Ronald Reagan .
If you spit on them in the primary, its ok because it will have dried out by the time the general rolls around?
UBet
Who said what?
and we have his brother , congressman Salazar...who just got the NRA endorcement !
GRRRRR
