Does anyone still live in Detroit? Last time I was there all I saw was burnt out building and ones with their windows busted out.

College towns?
Methinks you mean one college town.
If Michigan State wins they burn couches.....
If Michigan State loses they burn couches....

On behalf of all past and present Detroiters, up yours. This is not the crack you're looking for. Move along.

Yes, that's the one...Michigan State, East Lansing, Cow college. ;) Even the more popular Michigan is calm if they win, of course they're used to it.

True story: My neighbor is a Michigan State fan......she told me how they had gone to a football game and that Kermit the Frog was the grand marshall of homecoming.
I blurted out......Do you know Kermit's famous line "It ain't easy being green.........."
I felt bad......very bad......

Yep, ol' Kermie marshalled the Homecoming parade at MSU, just about two weeks ago. Considering how poorly the Spartans have been playing, the frog prolly would have been happier at a pond.

Too much bad press about Detroit, for folks to make stuff up wheeler. By the way were their riots and burning in Detroit, after the game???? Nope.

I'd like to see Tigers vs. Cards, rematch of the '68 series.

Michigan State, East Lansing, Cow college Ahem. The proper name is:
Moo U!
I was out playing tourist this past weekend, saw a lot of T-shirts. The most popular seemed to be "My 2 favorite teams are Michigan (U of M, for those of you in Rio Linda) and whoever beat State" and "Friends don't let friends be fans of State". Yes, I found the ones that were pro-State (as am I), but those weren't as prominently displayed!

Oh, yeah, Moo U. I used to work for the MSU County Extension in our county, I should have remembered. I'm an Eastern Michigan Graduate...we're only known for our
"Interesting" landmark near campus
