The "teach them a lesson" conservatives tend to make decisions based on drama, idealism, utopianism, populism, cynicism, and feelings. Much like the left.
Which is why they invent scenarios, and write scripts of the way things should go, instead how they will go.
The hard work of running a primary opponent is ignored, because it takes real effort to find and groom a candidate, educate the public for years, raise money, campaigning 24/7, ect, all this is much less exciting than every two and four years complaining about being victimized by your Reps and a political Party.

Exactly. Ralph Peters did the same thing in the NY Post today. These elite Pubs are just delusional. You do not win by losing. The electorate put the Dems in charge of the House for some 40 years. What makes these geniuses think that the electorate will punish the Dems in just a two year span for their anti-American policies?

This stay home and not vote appears to be the last great hope for the Rats this year. Anyone, who buys into this has a reality problem.
