Yes... A very cold air front moved over the warm water of lake erie, first fog, then rain and then the biggest snowflakes you ever saw.
It came down for 12 hours in some places, so wet, so heavy landed on trees that were still full of leaves. They were breaking like toothpics.
I will post a link to some great pics a friend of mine took.

Wow, that's amazing. Hurricane Opal came through here in late September (I believe) when the leaves were still on the trees which made them top heavy and alot of our older trees toppled over and were uprooted.

I think you're right. This predicted season of how many, (9 I think ?) has fizzled out, right when the experts and gore/clinton were so positive global warming was the cause...lol.
