Top Secret was great!
Have you noticed that Cheetos now has an ad featuring Chester Cheetah, spy gear (and an evil iron-jawed henchman like the one in "Moonraker") and Chester is inside a fake cow? When it first aired my wife and I looked at each other and said, "Did we just see that?" Can they make a kids ad that is inspired by Top Secret? Especially considering what happened to the guys in the fake cow in that movie? Of course, the whole target market was born ten years after the movie...
The best thing is, the Dems would howl, and the GOP could send out spokespeople to say, "What part's not accurate? Is this less accurate than the Burning churches ad in 1998, the James Byrd dragging ad in 2000, the 'Roberts supports clinic bombing' ad in 2005, etc., etc."
Great video bump!
My son saw the new GEICO ad with Peter Graves delivering a woman's lines, talking about putting on "tangerine lip gloss" and such. He said, "That's funny, that guy is a good sport to do those lines." I stood there thinking, "You ain't seen nothin' yet, boy, wait until you see 'Airplane!'"
Toy Robot! KFM send up of Japanese monster movies.
