he'll just say they would have honored it if Bush wasn't such a cowboy, but every little nation is afraid of American "imperializm" or some such nonsense.

In my opinion, this was one of those perfect agreements where both sides won. Somehow this doesn't feel like winning....

In their (DEMS) world the clouds are made of cotton candy and there are fairies with pixie dust flying everywhere to turn things into gumdrops and lollipops.
These people are so out to lunch it is frightening and they are likely to take over the House and maybe the Senate in 4 weeks. God help us.

We have Jimmy Carter to thank for the whack jobs in iran and north korea. There should be a sign of the three of them planted in every front lawn of every Habitat for Humanity house in America.

If you look at it in a sort of, uh, different way, Jimmy Carter is actually a foreign policy genius. Whenever he makes any sort of prediction or pronouncement on foreign policy, assume the opposite and you'll be on safe ground 95 times out of 3.

he'll just say they would have honored it if Bush wasn't such a cowboy, but every little nation is afraid of American "imperializm" or some such nonsense. Exactly. He'll spin this without missing a beat. It's Bush's fault. Ah had everything spinnin' like a top, and then bumblin' right-wing evangelical crazy George came along and fouled it all up. The Dear Leader, his dignity torn asunder, had no choice but to press ahead with his nuke-u-ler program. Maybe now the American People will come to their senses and put Nancy Pelosi, Charlie Rangel, Henry Waxman, Harold Ford, Jerry Nadler, and Jack Murtha in charge.
They'll put things right in no time.

Pearls of wisdom from the greatest foreign policy expert and motivational speaker that has ever been President...Jimmy Carter. Do I need to label this as sarcasm?

Yep. I heard a rumor that next spring Jimmah's decided to go up to Alaska to replace the Grizzly dude from Malibu who is no longer with us.
"Those beahs ah puffickly friendly and truswuthy," Jimmah said. "They jus' need love an' affecshun. The man from Malibu jest diddn' uhnahstan' the pooah creatures. Whah ah've had direck experience with rabbits 'n dictatuhs n' thangs."

With the undeniable success of Haiti in his back pocket, Carter heads off to North Korea for a victory lap in 1994.
