"militants"

What an insult to revolutionaries and freedom fighters all over the world. (Including the ones I oppose) "Militants" is too good a word for these murdering and torturing gang of Islamic Terrorists. Piss on the Press for their use of the word "militants".

Please don't insult creatures. They at least kill for food or to protect themselves.

These "humans" enjoy the pain they inflict. Even on fellow coreligionists.

It's not? Didn't I provide you the clue for how many times you want that cobra to appear ~ remember, in the story of Ma-Nu, there are 7 sages, not 8.

BTW, last time I looked there were still Hindus in Pakistan (not many but some are there), and in Kashmir ~ although the number of Indian troops ther emight well outnumber them.

But whatever number there are, that simply does not prevent militant Hindus from going to Kashmir to "do their thing". I' suggest the "gangs", with or without names, have no trouble creating mayhem.

"Na-NU" may ass. 7 sages comes from the "Big Dipper" called "Saptarishi" in Sanskrit. The magical Vedic number is always 8, not seven. Go get some real education first.

The last time I looked there were still Jews in Germany, Christian Black Arficans in Darfur, Tutsis in Rawanda, Bengali Hindus in Bangladesh, Zorostrians in Iran, Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan, Serbs in Bosnia. So whats your argument?

Why don't you cut the crap and name some "millitant Hindu gangs" operating in Kashmir? YOU LYING MORON!

BTW read about the significans of number 7 in other religions:

In Judiaism:

"A highly symbolic number in the Torah, alluding to the infusion of spirituality and Godliness into the Creation. For example:
God rested on and sanctified the 7th day (Shabbat)
A seven-day purification period is required for one who has become tamei to become tahor
The Shemittah (Sabbatical) year arrives every 7th year
The Jubilee (Yovel) year comes after 7 times 7 years
The Counting of the Omer leading up to the Giving of the Torah is expressed as "7 times 7 weeks"

The weekly Torah portion is divided into seven aliyahs, and seven men or boys over the age of 13 are called up for the reading of these aliyahs during Shabbat morning services
Seven blessings are recited under the chuppah during a Jewish wedding ceremony
A Jewish bride and groom are feted with seven days of festive meals after their wedding, known as Sheva Berachot ("Seven Blessings")
The number of Ushpizzin (also known as the "Seven Shepherds") who visit the sukkah during the holiday of Sukkot: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, and David
The number of nations God told the Israelites they would displace when they entered the land of Israel (Deut. 7:1): the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite "

In Islam:
"The number of ayat in surat al-Fatiha
The number of heavens in Islamic tradition
The number of Earths in Islamic tradition
The numbers 7, 70, 70,000, etc. are used in Islamic traditions to denote an infinite or high number. In Arabic, 70, 70,000, etc. is used to mean infinite. This is because 1 is the smallest number, 2 is just after 1, 5 and 10 are exact, 4 and 6 are just before and after 5, and 9 is just before 10. This leaves 3, 7, and 8. 8 is closer to the end although it is larger. 8 is also an even number, so divisible by 2. Between 3 and 7, 3 is smaller so 7 is chosen to represent infinite. "

In Christianity:
"In the Bible, the number seven is the perfect number, six is imperfect.
The number of Archangels according to some systems. Seven Archangels
In the New Testament, the Gospel of Matthew 18:21, Jesus says to Peter to forgive seventy times seven people. [1]
"

"The number of the Seven Deadly Sins: Lust, Gluttony, Avarice, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, and Pride.
The number of the Seven Virtues: Chastity, Moderation, Liberality, Charity, Meekness, Zeal and Humility, corresponding to the seven deadly sins.
The seven terraces of Mount Purgatory (one per deadly sin)
The number of sacraments in the Roman Catholic faith

The number of palms in an Egyptian Sacred Cubit
The number of heads of the beast of the Book of Revelation, and of some other monsters, like the hydra and the number of seals. "

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_(number)

Oh I am sure the murders could even be Jews going by your logic.

TOP TEN
Reasons for beheading a dental surgeon in Kashmir:

10. Just showing him how to fix a toothache.

9. Dental license had expired.

8. Nothing really, just struck a nerve I guess.

7. Could not get tickets on short notice to Iraq.

6. Wanted to show what his last root canal felt like.

5. Traditional Kashmiri way of changing dentists.

4. Lifted veil on female patient.

3. Told patient there is no tooth Genie.

2. Patient looked in mirror and saw gold Star of David embossed on front tooth.

1. Good teeth are against Islam.

The magical Vedic number is always 8, not seven.

If we are going to be esoteric here
let me add:
a little known fact is
that even in the Hebrew Bible
there were 8 days of creation
not seven.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form and void
and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved
upon the face of the waters.

And God said
Let there be light
and there was light.

And God saw the light
that it was good
and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day
and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day."

So before DAY 1
on which God divided light from darkness
there was DAY 0
(the beginning)
the Day of the Cosmic Mother
the day on which God created the Heaven and the Earth
(from the Cosmic Mother)

Mystery solved. Shaving blade brand -

Inventory of the things, recovered by Handwara Police from the site of murder at Nopora Kalan and handed over to Sopore Police, is no less spine chilling: A blood-soaked shaving blade of Essex make, empty wrappers of four more razors, a 6-ft-long blood-soaked rope, two wooden batons besides three mineral water bottles of Kinley make and a Real juice pack which the killers had emptied while torturing and slaughtering the surgeon who was on fast on that 13th day of the holy month of Ramzan.

It's just one killing, but the writer(Ahmad Ali Fayyaz) seems pissed at the blase reaction........

When claimants and recipients of international awards in 'human rights activism' are unmoved; when Arundhati Roys don't write letters of protest; when leaders of 'freedom struggle' enjoy cable entertainment indoors and don't form beeline to a bereaved family ; when television channels skip Sopore and pan their cameras to lanes and drains of Srinagar downtown; when newspapers claiming to represent the Kashmiri people’s sentiment downplay a horrible slaying in one-liners; and, when nobody in the 'healing touch' parties sheds crocodile tears, there's little need to know who committed the barbaric slaughtering of 35-year-old Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah in the north Kashmir appletown on October 7th.

I hear Brits don't like dentists either.

Or maybe that's just orthodontists.

Anger, sadness - the sheer useless waste of it all.

The apathy of politicians,

The frustration of a man who's seen this jihad closeup for far too many years......
