Right on. Even if McCain would win the primary, the length time I would have to hold my nose to vote for him, would probably kill me, so I would abstain - like our glorious leaders do in the senate.

Not voting for a Republican would probably be like - when you're hunting ducks on a cold Nebraska morning with three layers of clothes and you have to pee. When you do, it gives you a warm feeling at the time, but doesn't help you in the long run. But I would walk around squishing for a week to see McCain defeated. Strong post to follow.

I have said all along McCrazy will get some democratic support. That is because his principles (the few he has) are much closer to democrat principles than Republican.

They are not good choices, but any of them would be better than having some insane maniac in the White House.

I watched McCain for maybe 3 minutes, last night (with the sound off!)......he was dressed-up like a McMuffin in a black and white pin-striped, mafia-type suit, a baby-blue shirt that clashed with the suit, of course, and a pink tie that looked like melting icecream. Above all that, there it was, that ubiquitus popped-out ball on his cheek which is sometimes immense, and sometimes small......WTF is it? A cancerous growth? This man needs to go home, stay there, and write his memoirs. He is not Presidential material, he never was, and he never will be. I'll gladly (enthusiatically!) vote for REAL men like John Bolton or Rudy Guiliani, but that's it. If the GOP can't present a viable candidate, it should not continue to exist, don't you agree?

.....

They need to run a conservative not dress one up and hope we don't see the empty suit.

I'll NEVER change my mind on that miserable puke whose mouth is only exceeded in size by his insufferable ego!

McCain violated his oath of office with that abominable McPain-Foolsgold attack on the First Amendment, he lusts for the spotlight in a way that is truly frightening, and if anything more is needed, he refers to one of the premier American traitors as "my good friend John Kerry", and that should remind EVERYone of that old saying:

"A man is known by his friends."

Any friend of Kerry is NO friend of MINE!

But like dirty birds, traitors of a feather, plot together.

Shoot, if I were McCain I would stay in the Senate. He is more powerful than any president. He has already taken away free speech during an election, and watered down the courts with his gang of 14. I would never vote for McCain.

CFR - for that reason I will NEVER vote for McCain. It was a direct affront to the First Amendment. McCain and the people who vote for him can go to hell.

I was a McCainiac until his amnesty proposal, that was the straw that broke the camels back. My dad is a old school Rockefeller republican but even he has tossed McCain Aside.

I don't here too many stampeding for him anymore except for the media.

He has the ability to lead and a good sense, domestically, of where the country ought to go.

Like the good sense to enact a law suppressing free speech? McCain - no way in hell would I ever vote for him.

Caught some of that speech on CPSAN. He was somnambulent. Is that his speaking style?

I don't think we have to worry about him getting the GOP nomination as he won't get through the primaries. He may however then run as an independent.

Further, he will find that his position as MSM darling, their favorite maverick, will fade as the race progresses.
