Thanks for the ping. I have commented at some length already. Last time I was in Bolivia (2000? the next year I kinda got reoriented in a new area) they were tearing up an airfield looking for his dead carcase but didn't find it.
If he ever turns up, they have a humongous mausoleum built for him in, I think, Santiago.

Don't forget to look at the second page, which shows his hands being fingerprinted, and also, the bones they dug up in '97. He was two hands short of the usual bone complement.
