In any case, cats today are still generally protected and respected in the Islamic world, and are even permitted inside mosques. That is the first positive thing I have ever heard about islam. I know Buddhists are kind to cats but I had no idea that muzzies were.
And of course Christians follow in the steps of St Francis.

This is a wild dog that was caught on Camp Victory in Iraq. There are several more loose and I am not sure why this one was targeted for capture. But if I had to guess, it may not have been as afraid of humans as the others.
Ugly sucker, huh?
