"Are the e-mails and the IM both confirmed from Foley?"

Why would he have resigned if it wasn't his?

<> Yes, nothing makes gays or gay advocates more furious than making this suggestion. And yet... and yet ... when one looks at the Catholic priest scandals... Most of the abused were not children, but young boys in their early to mid-teens. It does seem like there is a tiny bit of a pattern; not universal but just a propensity.

In effect what the author is doing is justifying the use of blackmail to coerce secret homosexuals into supporting the gay political agenda.

I am not up on all the details, like if this page was underage or when this all happened. My point is simply that this gay reporter is a hypocrite and a liar, like most democrats. He also tars everyone that is NOT peeping into bedrooms, with being homophobic. This reporter is worse than the representative, in my view, and so are most of the dems, that ignore flagrent and horrible behviour right in their midst, all the while peeking into the bedrooms of others. They disgust me.

"I am not up on all the details, like if this page was underage or when this all happened."

drudge had a link to a .pdf file. In the file was the IM conversation between the page and Mr. Foley. In the conversation the page tells Mr. Foley he was underage.

ABC News found the live boy in the form of an e-mail and exchange between the Florida Republican congressman and an underage male page

And true to their RAT ways, they held on to these messages until late in the election cycle, when Foley was way ahead, to throw the seat into chaos and increase Democrat chances to win it.

Oddly, the irony of a forced resignation through self-indictment escapes the "everybody does it" crowd.

If it's no big deal, why are we making a big deal out of it after the fact?

That doesn't excuse what Mr. Foley did. And why would want to vote for a man who does these kinds of things?

The fact that Foley was gay was brought up during the last election. I remembered it and was waiting for someone from Florida to bring up the topic. He was seen then as a harmless gay and a victim of the rash of "outings" that the Democrats were making on Republicans following the Clinton impeachment.
I am sure that they went trolling for this young man to throw up in his face. While his actions were definitely sleazy, I don't see anything illegal, but perhaps there is more to come.

Lindsey Grahm was also threatened wit outing, but he seems to have caved to the liberal agenda. Brit Humes son was a serious victim of these outings, however, and committed suicide rather than face exposure.

At last we know why Mr. Foley wouldn't throw his hat in the ring for the U S Senate primary. I guess we can thank our lucky stars he didn't. There was pressure from the Florida Republican party for him to enter it.

And here, the dead girl was found in the back seat of Rose Kennedy's Olds Delmont

Yes, and GM discontinued the Delmont 88 for that reason, showing that a soulless corporation has more decency (and sense) than the Massachusetts electorate, which still hasn't discontinued Admiral Delmont his ownself.

"But asking a lawmaker if he was gay and how his sexuality affected his vote was just not acceptable."

I'd like to ask this reporter the following question:

"Is asking a reporter if he is gay and how his sexuality affects his reporting is acceptable?"

Do you ever wonder if the reported stories in the MSM about homosexuality are slanted because of the sexual orientation of the reporter? Richard Berke of the NYT once said that a majority of the NYT editorial staff was gay/lesbian. Did that affect their editorial stance?

I'd have no problem with that if their orientation and conflict of interest was disclosed in each editorial.

Pointing out the truth about Democrats, isn't excusing Mr Foley. Odd that you would interpret it that way? Kind of a stretch on your part isn't it? The reporters that held this story back until now, if that is true, were accomplices in any further attempts Mr Foley may have made at seducing underage people. That is called aiding and abbetting.

The craziest thing about this article is that someone who worked at a rag like the Advocate outing politicians could land a job at ABC News.

I wrote the story not as an activist seeking to punish someone for not being who I thought they should be. I wrote it as a journalist seeking to dig deeper into a topic that was at the top of every newspaper in the country.

Bull. Just like racial minorities who dare to vote Republican or espouse conservative views, gays who stray from the reservation need to be hunted down and punished.

J. Jenningth Moth here is lying through his lithp.

(By the way, the reason that there's no upset on the left or in the "lithping-American community" is because many if not a majority of gay men are sexually attracted to teenage boys. They aren't pedos like the creep attracted to toddlers; they're "normal, for gays." They don't want people to notice this, or they might notice that "normal, for gays" does not equal "normal.")

This creep Foley was right to resign. Certainly the gay Dems at ABC had a political agenda in outing him, but they actually did the nation a service, for their own selfish reasons. Foley could do the nation a further service with a length of electrical cord or a revolver.

I remember that former GOP Rep. Bob Barr, the congressman who was the chief sponsor of DOMA, got asked once which of his three previous marriages he was defending, and no one raised a stink.

Am I the only one that thinks this is ironically funny? I am appalled at Foleys behavior, but I am also appalled at other's within our party that tend to "live in glass houses". I am not trying to say that a divorced man can't be moral, but I am saying that they all tend (both parties) to think that rules and morals are for other people.

The reason libs can look in the mirror is that there is no reflection there.

And this guy was caught running a male prostitution ring from his residence in Washington !!!

Just for the record, it was his "housemate" who was running the prostitution ring. Frank denied all knowledge of it; there was never any proof that he did know about it.
