Heck yes!
Oh no! An assault weapon with an evil folding stock, think of the children csvset, the children!!
/sarc
Actually is that a "super" m90, I heard it could fire both beanbags and regular shot seems like a good thingfor a school to have. Man it looks sweet...
You're a newbie?
It is OK by the NRA to disarm felons and to disbar them of their RKABA under color of law. So make felons of us all and disarm us all - legally.
'Cept of course the gallus-snappin shotgun-chic NRA lifer recta. Be careful of who agrees with you since they may be idiots too. Which part of 'shall not be infringed' is not understood?
Hmm, leadership classes? Praise in public but b|tch at in private? You may agree with me, or argue your point or insult me but in public where I mashed your button.
I am sharing a converstion with the blogger's here on FR I had with an associate last week after this shooting.
mr_hammer's comments:
There is no such thing as a saftey zone ... only a victim zone, as demonstrated in Co. this past week. Had there been armed personnel on the premises and entrances of the school labeled as such (administrators armed) a sixteen year old girl would still be alive. The fallacy that you can stave of evil with cute little red (anti firearm) stickers on the entrances of a school is plain stupid. Predators will always seek out the weak and exploit them. Get real Libs!
Secondly, there is a very easy techique used in disarming someone who places a firearm to your face. Find a good self defense class and have them show you how to do this.
Passing more feel good laws is a waste time and will just more kids killed.
P.S. This crap is the product of a depraved culture that has devalued the dignity of life.
mr_hammer's associates response:
More gun laws will never prevent the depraved and evil from committing their dastardly deeds. We could have only gotten this farthis far removed from realityby a culture of appeasement. We appease the criminals, the terrorists, the banks, the insurance companies, the public utilitiesOUR government in general. We have created a culture of appeasement at all recognizable levels of society. When is the last time there was a concerted effort on the part of the general populace to demand the execution of a mass murderer?
When is the last time a states citizenry demanded the resignation of a corrupt politician? When is the last time we have actually fought for our ever-diminishing freedom? Its all connected and never for a moment should we think it is not.
The evil-doers of our communities roam freer now than ever before in our nations short history. Sure, we have more police and a bloated government. But what are they up to? Well, most police spend 75% of their time collecting additional revenue at the base of 35 MPH zones or construction zones on highways. Do they train? Not hardly. If you believe that they do then do some inquiry of your own. Ask where, when and how. How often do they practice forced entries? How often do they qualify with their duty weapon? Where do they train? How many hours per month? How many rounds per year do they or quarter do they shoot? When and where do they practice defensive tactics? How often do they attend coursework?
Unless you live in one of Americas largest cities the above answers are going to disappoint you beyond belief. Blind credit gifted upon those we depend upon is fools gold. I would verify if I were you.
The police in this incident attempted to blow a hole in the exterior wall of the school. They should have known from experience and training that it simply doesnt work. They should have entered that school through the main doorways immediately and in mass. They should have marched directly to the classroom where this psychopath was holding the children. They have a job to do and its a risky job. Sure, its easy to say what should have been done. I suppose thats not really the point. The point is what should have been done in the months and years leading up to an incident in a rural communitynot just that day.
This nut in Colorado failed to appear in court in 2004 on a harassment charge. He was a derelict who wandered around the state and lived in his car. Did anyone try and find him these past two years for failure to appear in court? No, but Ill bet they made about $5 million in speeding fines over the course of the last 24 months.
What makes me angry about this story is the fact that it is so preventable. Its preventable by people standing up for their rights. By demanding that their local government do what they have been chartered to do. Its preventable by demandingthrough outright insistencethat their local police train. Its preventable by demanding that their local government put YOUR money where it belongsin your safety and security.
This tragedy is in no way about guns. Its about priorities. We know where the federal and state governments priorities are: To grow ever larger. Where are yours?
Very good post. There was a male in the classroom that wanted to stay but when the man put gun in his face he wisely left.
Our schools teach how to put condoms on cukes but not how to react in a critical situation.
If the kids had the alertness in the first seconds of the hostage taking they could have taken him down.
I know this is not going to be popular but we need to understand that gov't can't protect us all the time and a school is wide open, except maybe in the tough inner schools.
Arming teachers is not the answer either, a perp would just pop the teacher and go from there.
The power is in the students and being able to react quickly before the perp got the upper hand.
This incident should be an eye opener for all schools and PD's.
I think you missed to point of my post but no big deal.
Hell yes I want the teachers armed.
I was Navy, too. What was your rate and where were you stationed?
Allowing teachers with CCW to carry is the only option. 1 guy with even a KelTec P3-AT (very inexpensive tiny gun) in each school would end this crap once and for all.
Is this a coherent thought? Can I get a translation?
Bwahahaha.
