If only the neeners had a ping list we could take up a collection. Sounds like a great idea.

Individuals wanting to contribute supplies to the coffee shop should first contact Anderson either by email at

john.anderson@gcemnf-wiraq.usmc.mil

or by writing him at

Chaplain John Anderson, 3D BN 2D MAR HQ SVC CO, UNIT #73130, FPO, AE, 09509-3130.

The list of needed items includes:
• Unroasted coffee beans
• A variety of flavored coffee syrup in plastic bottles (not unsweetened)
• Spiced chai powder

Anderson said he called the place “He-Brews Coffee,” after the book of Hebrews in the New Testament of the Holy Bible.

<DECODER RING>

Anderson said he called the place “He-Brews Coffee,” because he's a charter member of the Worldwide Zionist Conspiracy Network

Nope, not at all. He's a chaplain, the name is a play on the word Hebrew (a book in his holy bible) and what HE does. Not too much at all, unless you're an intolerant Koranimal.

Probably an innocent slip and obviously bad editing. Give the Marine some credit, he's showing he positive side of Combat Duty in Iraq.

Besides your decoder ring tag you should have added the /sarc tag, right? At least I hope so.

Go here http://www.defenselink.mil/faq/comment.html then pose the question using the Chaplain's Name, Rank, and the location unit assignment from the story. Say what you want to do asking for the best way to do it. It's at least a start.
