Oh, he'll be re-elected, that much is for sure, and the state spending and borrowing binge will continue and more and more effort will be focused on making California even more of a Socialist Utopia than ever before.

Please explain how this demonstrates that Arnold is working to protect us from socialized medicine.

Thank you.

Davis? Seems like suicide to me.

Of course, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

As Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, looks toward a second term, his administration has vowed to make access to health care a top priority.

And the RINO-coddlers wonder why I refuse to vote for these liberals with an 'R' by their names. Feh!!

I daresay all you're going to hear is the chorus of crickets.

That and a lot of hopping up and down sprinkled with claims that you're an Angelides supporter. *smirk*

Yeah, I'm used to that by now.

It kinda reminds me of Mission Impossible, the way our heros kept peeling off latex masks at the end. I get this bad vision of Arnold standing on the podium taking his oath of office, and just before the acceptance speech, he peels off the rubber mask and deflates the chest pads, revealing that...

He IS Angelides!

See tagline.

Arnold, standing on the podium. taking his oath of office, and he peels off the rubber mask revealing that he IS Angelides!

What strikes me about the gaggle of partisan gadflies infesting this forum each election cycle is their blind loyalty. The group would swamp this forum with their noxious promotions for Angelides, just as they now do for Schwarzenegger, if Angelides had been anointed by the Central Committees in the spring.

Their approach to partisan, political promotion does have one significant advantage over the conventional political speak of their opponents: Flexibility.

It not matters whether their CaGOP candidate is an intellectual giant, a mental midget, a man, a women, a homosexual, a liberal, a socialist or of another species. It just matters that the object of their affection is registered in the Republican Party.

AB 2911 has an interesting definition of an eligible Californian.

It will come as no surprise that the legislative definition includes any who domicile in California, regardless of nationality.

That's probably why AB 2911 is know as the Fox Plan in the hallways of the capitol.

If California maintains its present trends, the state will soon exceed federal generosity with regard to international aid in this hemisphere.

Good catch. I haven't read all the details of the bill, but posted the press release for further discussion.
