Actually, Pres. Bush introduced "Drugs for Geezers" in order to counter a similar program introduced by AlGore. True to his nature, he delivered on his promise. Unfortunately.

IMHO, the 'Pubbies see a whole bunch of center-left votes uncovered by the Democrat march to the wacko Left, and think they can pick them up without losing too much of their right wing base. After all, where else can the go? Remember, political parties are about power, not principles.

The answer, in my case, anyway, is that I'll skip the presidential line if they put a RINO up as a candidate (Guiliani and McCain come to mind), and I won't vote for RINO Senators or Representatives (that's not really a problem here in Georgia, though...).

You all would love Jeanine Pirro's TV ads for Attorney General here in NY (where Republicans are ashamed to call themselves Republicans).
