So what?
If voters got their news solely from CNN and MSNBC and the alphabets, the GOP would not be holding majorites!
Good grief.

Still not working for me, I read post 11 though. Is that the NIE report in it's entirety or a snip?

I think if you compare it to an earlier post:
The Full NIE (Leaks the NYT didn't want you to see) Strata-Sphere ^ | September 25, 2006 | AJ Strata & Spook86
You will find the corresponding quotes that were leaked.
I do believe the Dems are now struggling to get the upper hand (ha, ha, ha) ... or maybe, not quite back-peddling, but switching gears in their vain glorious attempt to lie to the American public.

"Jane Harman claims there's another report." Well, there's ONE leaker.
Anybody else care to step UP?
To: tobyhill
They can claim a lot of things.
In fact, they claimed this proved something it didn't.
To: Dog; tobyhill
That rat is Jane Harmon from NoCal. Could we say she is leaking this information?

Here's another key point in the document:
"Progress toward pluralism and more responsive political systems in the Muslim world will eliminate many of the grievances jihadists exploit."
This is EXACTLY the Bush Doctrine in play... there IS progress towards a more responsive political system in both Afghanistan and Iraq... there are millions of purple fingers to prove it.
To: MNJohnnie
But ... but ... but ... THAT'S NOT FAIR! The WH shouldn't be able to counter the Times leak and sandbag a carefully orchestrated Dem political offensive that also included retired officers critical of Rumsfeld and the Iraq War! /sarcasm

The $$$$ quote from the NIE report...
Should jihadists leaving Iraq perceive themselves, and be perceived, to have failed, we judge fewer fighters will be inspired to carry on the fight.
If we 'cut and run', as Dems want, they win and will be inspired to continue to fight. Report makes it very clear on that point.

Should al-Zarqawi continue to evade capture and scale back attacks against Muslims, we assess he could broaden his popular appeal and present a global threat. Funny how the Times neglected to mention this item - and that killing Zarqawi negated that assessment.

Thanks to the Admin Moderator....do a reload and we have the summary statemnt ...at least here....if there is more....we can see it tomorrow.

Hard to get excited about this b/c of the way Sandy Berger's stealing documents was swept under the rug along with the CIA MAry McCarthy leak. Then on the other side we have Scooter Libby indicted for the no-leak Plame deal. We always get the short end of the stick.
