Almost two-thirds of those who suspect President Bush intervened to bring down energy prices before Election Day are registered Democrats
Gasp! I'm shocked, shocked!

Remember back in '04 when Bush was trying to win reelection and Kerry wanted him to release oil from federal reserves in order to lower gas prices because they were too high?
BTW, Bush refused to manipulate gas prices by tapping the federal oil reserves despite the Democrats wanting him to do so.

If Republicans have the power to manipulate gas prices, I definitely want them to win.

The real secret is that Bush and Cheney have exclusive rights to the naqueada generator patent and, after the election, will use Asgaard beaming technology to make the world's oil reserves disappear, ensuring their fortune.

42% huh. We are becoming a nation of imbeciles. Conspiracy theories are not just stupid, they are DANGEROUS. Mark my words, this does not bode well. People who promulgate them are traitors to their people and culture. Those whose duty it is (MSM) to teach people otherwise, are complicit in this act. The MSM should really be exposing these theories and theorists as the whackjobs that they are. After all, I see the MSM making fun of creationists and Christians all the time.
Note, I am NOT equating Christians with Conspiracists. I think it is FAR more likely that God created everything we see in 7 days, than I think the Bush Administration is involved in these kinds of conspiracies. And I say that as an evolutionist!

Prices of most mineral commodities are headed back up today. This makes the entire essay above out of date by several hours. The use-by date is usually tomorrow or sooner on financial columns.
