Rudy is a moderate "real" republican with wide appeal.

If Rudy was in office he would have slapped these punks silly.
They prolly would have been scared to say it in the 1st place.
Good thing we won't have to wait to long till he is.

Rangel did well, but Giuliani would have done better. If Bloomberg had anything to say, I didn't hear it.
To: GovernmentShrinker
Bloomberg said to just ignore Hugo Chubbo! It figures wimp wimp wimp!

Besides Rangle and Pelosi .....
Jeez.... where were ANY repubs taking these guys out to the woodshed?
I hope there were maybe the MSM didn't report it.

I'd like to know who was actually responsible for the other Venezuelan guy (#2, I believe, at least of the ones here for the UN junket) getting detained at JFK for an hour and a half (by immigration or customs officials, not sure which). He was pissed. I was amused.
To: tkathy
Yep. He appeals to the antigun pro abortion and pro gay marriage set. The Democrats seem to find that a pretty good base.

Can I get on your ping list? I am a supporter of Rudy not a detractor.

Rudy Giuliani on Gun Control All gun owners should pass written test I do not think the government should cut off the right to bear arms. My position for many years has been that just as a motorist must have a license, a gun owner should be required to have one as well. Anyone wanting to own a gun should have to pass a written exam that shows that they know how to use a gun, that theyre intelligent enough and responsible enough to handle a gun. Should both handgun and rifle owners be licensed...were talking about all dangerous weapons. Source: Boston Globe, p. A4 Mar 21, 2000

I am a Republican - not a liberal - I admire Giuliani - your statement is not true.
To: Reagan Man
Only liberals yearn for RudyG.Rudy was the best thing that ever happened to NYC. He will probably be the Republican nominee, I suggest you get over your dismissive attitude.

Bloomberg supposedly said not to dignify them with an answer. Dumb move. He should have torn them apart. But what do you want it's Bloomberg after all.

And remember Rudy telling the Saudi "prince" to screw himself after the "prince" offered a $10 million check then blamed 9/11 on the US?
