If you've already spent your Republican dollars on anything written by these 'former' goodfellows, forgive yourself and move on. Just make a promise that you'll never let it happen again. Please, let's all stay vigilant and alert to these celebrities that get such a kick out of funneling our money to the Dem cause.
I just felt like this bore repeating.

"The Pelican Brief" and "The Client" could have been written by Karl Marx (if he had been a moronic, illiterate hack). Stephen King is a typical New England ivory tower liberal. If either of these two literary giants (sarc) were ever Republicans, Hillary was prom queen.

John used to be a great guy before he made the big time and still had his little nondescript brick law office on Stateline Rd. in Southaven, Miss. A Republican and Deacon in his Baptist church.

Bill Clinton proudly showed off his own new cowboy boots. Did he not get the memo?

If that. One good read of The Stand, where all the Good Guys are Liberal Arts majors and "artists", and all the Bad Guys are scientists, engineers and military, should reveal Steve-a-rino's political beliefs.

About 1,000 supporters of Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Jim Webb filled the Paramount Theater last night to hear readings by Webb and best-selling authors John Grisham and Stephen King. What a coupla yawners. So they're supporting Webb. Whoopee doo.

If he was a Republican, why did he hold state office as a Democrat in MS?

Grisham was a state rep, but I don't recall him being a Democrat at the time. I could be wrong though!

OKAY I was wrong about the Republican part.
To: ItMatters2Me
I've read both of them and fropm what I read neither of them have ever been Republicans unless they were of the Chaffee stripe. No loss in my opinion.

Grisham, King and Webb each said he had been a Republican before switching parties.I have a hard time believing this. Perhaps King was a Republican like Chaffee, but I seriously doubt that the liberal Grisham was a Republican.
Ha....they have to claim to be Republicans to get votes for their candidate. That tells you something.

"Willie Nelson said of our president, 'He ain't no cowboy, and he ain't from Texas.'"
This coming from Willie who writes a song about cowboys wanting to kiss other cowboys! Yeah, I guess Bush isn't a cowboy by those standards. But then Willie probably thinks the cowboy in the Village People is the real thing.
He should forget the crack and pot and get back on his meds.

I never said that he isn't a flaming liberal today. I was talking about when he lived and worked and worshiped in my neck of the woods. I lived just across the stateline into Tenn. and john's office backed up to line.

And we are proud the RINO writers left BUMP!

I suggest if you sell their books at a yard sale, put up a sign that says, Republicans: 50 cents Democrats: 2 dollars. Wait, I have to charge Democrats less, they are poor, historically underprivileged, and it would be discrimination to charge them more, since 90% of blacks vote Democrat that would also be a hate crime... Upon further review, too many Democrats can't or won't read, so it's a moot point anyway.
