Someone elsewhere wondered what would have happened if Clinton had been interviewed by O'Reilly. I am not fan of O, but I hope that he would have taught Clinton a little respect: O Reilly is a big man and years younger.

Wallace, One suggestion...if Clinton offers to continue the interview while going on a friendly stroll in Fort Marcy Park, tell him, "thanks, but no thanks."
To: rface
The President was clearly stung by any suggestion that he had not done everything he could to get bin Laden The ex-President should just put some ice on it...

Yah, it must be hell to be smirked at while you are in the middle of telling legacy whoppers. Shame he couldn't see all the Red States smirking too.

If you think this was spontaneous on Clinton's response I believe everyone on this thread is mistaken....
I'm sure this response was rehearsed, vetted and staged numerous times prior to the interview.....
He was "cocked and loaded" waiting for the "trigger" question.....
Chris just walked into exactly what Clinton wanted.... the MSM is very predictable....
I'm sure that the response on DU is something to the effect that "Clinton was forceful, showed leadership etc."
Gag me....

I saw part of it and Clintoon was in a 'madder than hell' mood. He doesn't like to be criticized and kept repeating "right wing" and "right wing neocons" as if it were a mantra.

Clinton is one of the best BS artists ever.
He said he would have more troops in Afghanistan trying to kill Bin Laden (of course Bin Laden isn't in Afghanistan) ....
But in the same diatribe, Clinton gave excuses for his NOT going into Afghanistan, saying the special forces were against it because of the need to refuel the helicopters.
So he would do more but he did less.

It is a FACT, that is UNDISPUTABLE, that when Bill Clinton screwed around with an intern, he set himself up to fail on at least one front, the war on terror.
Why do I say this?
It is clear that he avoided responding to the embassy bombings because he was worried about the "wag the dog" claims. Had he not actually engaged in sex with an intern, something that WE would get fired for, there would have been no basis for claiming "wag the dog".
I love the fact that the "Path to 9/11" lit a fire under him, I just want to watch him stew in his own juices.
As Chris Wallace pointed out after the interview, Clinton could have taken the 93 bombing of the towers as a declaration of war and the people would have been behind him, but he did not. He treated it as a crime and as a result, gave Al Qaida years to formulate their 9/11 activities without any threat.

Last night TMC broadcast the Original "Manchurian Candidate." I've alwasy felt that Xlintoon was the real thing. He got the job but, too late, The USSR was no longer a player.
Clinton's rant sounds just like the staged speeches of Iselin and the trail of Arkanicides is not a fantasy!
If I were in Wallace's shoes I would have stopped the interview with a chop to the adams apple and a thumb in his eye!

Clinton can not handle the truth...and real interviews. He's been used to on-air 'blow-jobs' from the MSM.

This was all a setup by the Clintonistas. I thought so before the segment ran today. I asked my son on Friday why would a man that never gives interviews to FoxNews suddenly decide to do so? And why would he explode with phony indignation on the first question? One that was about as innocuous as a Larry King question. Someone needs to get on the talk circuit and start asking how many terrorists Clinton killed or captured and then ask them if they can state as Clinton did that he did more against terrorism than anyone since and keep a straight face while saying that.

I will say that I think Chris Wallace did a fabulous job. What would have been superlative would have been if Brit Hume had done the interview instead of Wallace.......... Brit is probably the best reporter ever..........at least, IMHO.......
