in the old days (pre-energy bill), $1.50 wholesale would translate to about $2.10 at the pump retail. With the ethanol mandate, the spread between wholesale and retail prices has widened by as much as $.20 per gallon.

Yes, to those asking, this is the price per barrel for the wholesale gasoline.

I think you meant per gallon.
