OK, now I am at my office and getting really hungry for seafood. Sartins when it was at Sabine Pass was good as well as the Channel Inn. Both were gone before Rita. Never been the same.

Yeah, I knew they were. I didn't live here when they moved, but I had eaten at the one in Beaumont after all that. It just was not the same, at all.

I've eaten fried soft shells all over the US because I love them so much and none have ever come close to those at Sartin's in Sabine Pass - made many many trips there just for those.
