It probably won't make much difference. The reaction to the Pope's speech just proves the Islamics are not ready for dialog. The Conservatives knew that already. The Left needs to think once again about their position, but I don't think they will put out much effort.

If Muslims ever accomplished a hit on the Pope...which even the KGB couldn't carry out properly with their nut from Turkey....it would likely make the entire religion fall from any grace. There wouldn't be a Muslim safe in all of Italy...they'd all have to pack to go within 24 hours. Being that the Pope is German...you'd see the most dramatic turn of racism within Germany ever....if you thought the Jews got it bad...just hold onto your horses.

To be this unsecure about your faith...to take his words totally out of context...to say the heartless things they have said...simply shows the lower life form that Islam has taken.

Further to our discussion of yesterday. Muslim assasination of Christian politicians goes back even further in the 20th century. Remember that RFK was assasinated by a moslem, Sirhan Sirhan. That was way back in 1968. Some mark this date as the start of the present conflict. Others point to the hostage crisis of 1979 as the beginning.

It seems like these "lone moslem gunmen" sure do cause a lot of problems.
