What I don't understand is how the parents thought they could force the girl into an abortion. She is a nineteen year old adult and she would have to sign a consent form before a clinic would perform an abortion. They may be baby killing mills but I doubt that any of them accept patients who are brought in bound and gagged.

Who wants to bet if the parents had managed to get the girl to Planned Parenthood that they would have obliged to perform the abortion, even with the girl clearly under duress.

I don’t blame the parents for being upset their daughter turned out to be a fool.

Unfortunately, kidnapping her and all the rest wouldn’t have made the daughter any smarter.

What the parents should have done was disown her, and get on with their own lives.

Anything else was foolishness—I guess the daughter inherited that trait from her parents.
