I think they either just brought the first one, or just finished testing and approved them for production. Perhaps someone from the ping list will know.

Have any been fielded with the 105mm? I thought there were some issues with getting it to work.

The PA National Guard has just taken delivery on, I think, the first 4 assault gun equipped Strykers. I'm guessing that they are at Ft. Indiantown Gap getting the kinks worked out. There's a tank gunnery range there, so it would seem natural to send them there.

Yep, the easy ride is a definite plus for the Infantry. OTOH, it's your weapons platform when you dismount. It would be a b*tch pulling it out if it bogs down. A Bradley is much less likely to do that. OTOH, a Styker can't throw a track.

And it has run-flat tires. It can do 50 mph on a road with all 8 tires flat, assuming the inner tubes are not punctured.
