It wasn't brave for Maines and the Chicks to say that about the President. With the polls allegedly showing Bush' popularity very low, they thought the remark would send their popularity to an all time high.

I suppose it could be called a wet dream, should a dreamer awaken from a nightmare about the Chicks and find he had puked all over himself.

Free Republic has no credibility - just a bunch of right wing nuts who cut and past articles from their board on to others. We've all been exposed to their bs many times by CashCow(aka beansox and scores of other names). Just disregard anything they say.

Bev. Yes the Free Replublic, Swifties, Ministers have tremendous power. After all, they are the ones that received the most air. As the Reps (
and the POTUS) say, "We will keep repeating ourselves until people believe us". It does not matter whether they speak the truth, as long as the people belive what they are saying is all they want. And unfortunately, many belive every word and don't take the time to really research the facts. Or for that matter, just open your eyes and listen very carefully.
