It doesn't matter if Kerry released them or not (he released them to a few reporters) we know what he was trying to hide, his college grade point average and military test scores (all lower than Bush's). If they had gotten out before the elections, he wouldn't have been able to claim to be "nuanced", and would never had been able to claim victory in the debates. He would have just been labeled, stupid.

I deeply admire the Swifty's for
their service and their stand and am grateful for their story.

However, the Democrat Machine contributed greatly to Bush's re-election by selecting Kerry. Edwards or even Hillary, would have been more of a threat.

He would not have received a BCD unless as the result of a court martial. If memory serves, he could have received a general administrative discharge, however, either "Administrative under honarable" conditions or "other than honorable conditions."

I doubt he ever was court-martialed.

Elian should be the guest of honor at the next GOP convention.
