If convicted, Hussein and the other defendants could face death by hanging.
Too good for him. I thought he had requested a firing squad. I would prefer a shoeing death for him. Let thousands of Iraqis throw shoes at him until he dies. Could take a very long time.

I doubt they have an insanity defense in any jurisprudence inspired by the Shari'a.
