It is my hope the growing number of ex-gays will help everybody see the need for proper studies on the subject of homosexuality, homosexual parenting, etc.

While I think it's folly to assume that children raised by homosexual parents are blissfully perfect, it's no addition to your cause to make an unscientific assumption that if they aren't showing problems now, they certainly will later.

I personally (and don't need a multitude of flaming here) don't care if homosexuals adopt. If there is molestation going on, they need to removed, but there is no guarantee of molestation by homosexual parents just as there is no guarantee of NOT being molested by hetero parents.

I believe you are putting words in the authors mouth, here. He doesn't say that, but he does say: the emotional problems of children raised by gay parents are quite likely to predispose them to later problem behaviors.

BTW, the molestation issue is a completely separate issue. Nobody is saying all homosexuals molest children. In fact the vast majority don't molest children. Still, percentagewise, the chances of children getting molested by homosexual parents or their friends are disproportionately higher.

After having a gay nephew I believe he was born that way. He was always very feminine and played with dolls, never liked boy toys. He is 36 and still much more feminine than I am. I had a gay cousin who died of AIDS and no one from the family went to his funeral, they were embarrassed. I would have gone, but no one told me he died.
