"Another Freeper supporting.........wait, I'm lost." A Freeper supporing Kinky? Yes, you are lost.

Apparently Perry has lost a good number of votes from the base of the party.

Yes, you are lost. My, but you are persuasive. Maybe if you made fun of my shoes I would come around.

Guess again. How else can we send a message? He just does not seem to get it that we are tired of taxes, grand toll roads and illegal immigration.

Yep, when he wins by 12 points, be sure to revisit this article, will ya.
It will be interesting to review all these threads about the Governor's race on Nov. 8....... I still think it will be Perry, Bell, Strayhorn, Friedman, and Libertarian.

"My, but you are persuasive. Maybe if you made fun of my shoes I would come around." No, making fun of your shoes would be like making fun of Governor Perry's hair now would it?
That tactic is best left up to the "Perry Derangement Syndrome" participants.

But at least, he's "our joke" not the Dems. Believe me when I say that Kinky is a Lyndon Johnson who will put in his lunatic fringe friends like Willie Nelson.

He has no proven political record at all...how can you assume he is better than what we have??? Judging from his history, we would end up to the far left of Hillary's views.

Here is how it is done:
"Well there is no eutopian conservative candidate out there but I will point out you can judge a man by the associations he has. If Kinky Friedman has that idiot Willie Nelson campaigning for him you can be pretty astute and ascertain Kinky is damaged goods. I just cannot trust what the man says...and... Birds of a feather flock together."

Reasonable people can disagree, converse, and learn from each other. Children, & liberals ridicule and divide.

We can always choose the Lesser of two Evils....and in this case that appears to be Perry.

Your choice...live with it. But I am prayerful that most Texans have enough sense to not jump in the fire with a nut case like Kinky.

My wife, brother, and father all are voting for Kinky. Also look at this, in TX arguably one of the most conservative states in the union a sitting republican governor is polling so low is very telling on many levels.

I am a lifelong Texan...have voted in the best of years and the worst of years....lived thru many horrible Dem Governors.........I am not so desperate as to vote on a nut case just to make a point. It took us many years in Texas to go Republican and I am not about to make a change, for ANY reason, but especially for a complete unknown like Kinky. I treasure our state too much for that kind of disaster.

I am damn near 60 yrs old now and I am sick and tired of voting for 'the lesser of two evils'.
Now to the point, Texas govs' are not that power and a Rep. state congress will keep Kinky in check. Thus sending a great big message in capital letters to the Republicans in this state that we will not take it anymore.
