Its not my job.

Without evidence, your assertion is useless. What a cop-out.

fail to see how America's/American's willingness to help others here and abroad during catastrophe as "sad" In fact, it is you who oppose such activity, that is sad.

What a barftastic strawman troll post.

"Simply look at Katrina and other catastrophes."

So the police confiscating law abiding citizens guns was ok with you?

You seem to think that 'government' has all the rights and not the citizens.

I got a clue for you sparky.

WE are the government.

Not some political local hack that wants you, me and anyone they disagree with to just 'step aside' whenever it's convenient for them.

It's one thing for 'citizens' to help each other and quite another for 'government' to force that help.

If I don't want to help, then that's MY prerogative.

NOT the goverment officials.

While Commissioner Elliot Kleiman acknowledged that such a law is subject to abuse, he explained, ''but it's not going to happen here.''

So if I prepare, I have supplies and the COOPER CITY GOVERNMENT decides that I the "collective rights" demand my preparations be redistributed (without compensation) then they will take?

Does this apply to firearms?
Does this apply to generators?
Does this apply to food?

This law is too broad.

NOTE: cooper city is in Blue Zone Broward (ground zero 2000) county.

Most everyone, malcontents excluded, would agree with the city council. In fact, the article says that only one asshole complained. Was that you?

How do we get the GOA or the NRA on this.

Cooper city is a den of democrats and those florida cities basically live by the philosophy hat all laws are constitutional until a judge (who lives in cooper city broward) says otherwise.

As the article points out, the state and other municipalities have laws similar. Deal with that, outside agitator.

Oh, well that makes it alright. As long as it's legal, it's all good huh?

Not only is it legal, but is accepted. Except for the single complainer.

Glad to know you would have gone along with slavery while it was legal and accepted.

So you're agreeing? The government has all the rights and the citizens have none!!

Now that I know where you stand (like I didn't to begin with) I can just dismiss your incessant inaneness!!

No need to reply. In fact, I prefer you didn't!

Bye now!

Oh I'm just sure that the people who planned for emergencies and spent their money for emergency generators, fuel, and food are just hoping that the government comes and takes their stuff and gives it to someone more worthy - like some welfare recipients whose air conditioning didn't work. Hell I'd even give 'em my ammunition - or at least part of it.

Can you show me abuse associated with this?
