How does the cycle frequency affects accuracy?
As time passes the event(s)can be put in context. For example:
Headline from June 28, 1914: Franz Ferdinand shot
History: Holy crap, World War I was started!
But I do know that history can be, and often is, rewritten many times in a 24 year cycle.
History really isn't re-written as much as you'd think in a 24 year cycle. The events remain pretty much the same. What changes is our perception of it. New documents surface, more research uncovers more details, the interest in certain aspects of an event or era shift and open new fields of study.
