Conservatives need to listen.

"I do hope that people out there who are genuine conservatives think about the consequences, Jeffries said. Its one thing to decide youre not happy with the Republicans, but its another thing to let the Democrats take power.

Well, then they should have done what they said they would do.
They've taken conservatives for granted and they've soured the base.
Why be enthused about supporting idiots? At least next time around the true conservative will be the only differing choice between a liberal, a RINO, & a principled conservative.
Screw RINOs. They aren't better than liberals.
They are liberals, having infiltrated our party.

They've had the power all along in the Senate!
What Republican would sit on a fence, 'leading' the Republicans (Frist), and fear a nonexistent filibuster threat on judicial nominees?
All non-conservative Republicans, by definition, are liberals.
What about all that don't you understand? The label of "Republican" doesn't mean that's what you get inside.

Democrats have big plans if they take over in Congress
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1694596/posts
Democrats will press to get out of Iraq. They'll mount investigations into the Bush administration's record that could rival those of Presidents Nixon in Watergate and Clinton in the Monica Lewinsky affair. They'll push a boatload of social-welfare legislation, such as raising the minimum wage, that reflects their pent-up priorities, while blocking the Republican agenda on social issues such as gay marriage, abortion and religion.
Those are some of the top plans that Democrats would pursue if they won power, according to interviews with Democratic lawmakers, strategists, staff aides and lobbyists. The tone and temper of the Democrats were reflected well by Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., the ranking Democrat on the House Government Reform Committee, in a conference call in late August. He'll become the panel's chairman if Democrats take the House.

The Dems are already in power. They are the ones who set the agenda, and the RINOs just react.
We want true conservative Republicans back in power, not Chaffee-Specter-Snow-Collins-Hagel liberals.

VERY IMPORTANT: If the Republicans lose the Senate, then the Dems will have control of the judiciary committee, and won't allow President Bush's judicial nominees to go to the floor for an up or down vote.
Republicans must vote in November, and don't forget to vote in the primaries for conservatives.

Yes, the Republican-led Congress has failed to plug the leaks in the nations borders. Yes, federal spending is out of control, despite pledges by Republican leaders to temper it. And, yes, Congress has failed to pass key social measures once thought all but assured, considering Congress and the White House are in Republican hands. And yes, I should support these clowns because, after all, having the Democrats in control would be much worse.

And how will that happen by letting leftist, socialist Dems take power instead?

Bush will have veto power and finally need to get off the damn fence and be a true conservative, binding with the remaining Republicans (conservatives) to stop the threats.
And I see gridlock better than the greased idiocy we now have.
To: ConservativeMind
Anyone who prefers Speaker Pelosi to Republican control in Congress is NO CONSERVATIVE. PERIOD. There is no excuse to allow the Dems to take over.

They can push whatever they want, but it won't get through a veto.
