Rush will get two shots at the Disney edit(tomorrow and Tuesday) since he is one of the few who saw the entire thing before it aired.

He has a huge job ahead of him. It's up to him to determine what was or was not edited.

In addition he will have to keep in mind that his biggest affiliate and home station(probably where the satellite up link for EIB is located as well) is in NYC at WABC.

How does he blast ABC(if they edit heavily) and still stay on good terms with his biggest affiliate.

Only Rush can do this and do it well, I can't wait.

Agreed. Remember how screwed the GOP was supposed to be in 2002 because of Democratic anger over the Florida recount? Jeb Bush was all but a dead incumbent walking. Ooops.

I keep fantasizing that an articulate conservative Presidential candidate will speak publicly and cleverly about the leftist media bias during their campaign. If this candidate would continue to give specific examples on a daily basis, and Lord knows there are dozens each day to point out, these emboldened commies/socialists would be forced into the shadows for a while. The delivery is what is important. Presidential candidates are scrutinized by many, many media outletts. This candidate could finally unveil what we all know to be true giving sometimes humorous, sometimes outrageous examples of left wing media bias.

It would force the media to back off and "appear" to be more fair. In the process, many people would be educated about the bias in which they have been oblivious. Granted, this candidate better have extra security protection (and I'm deadly serious), but it is way overdue that a Presidential candidate use the DBM's own words to topple them with.

Brilliant post here.

Rush explained it as Clinton trying to protect his ever so tenuous legacy.

His take is that Bubba's legacy is so weak, in fact, that the true facts, should they get out, monica, aspirin factory bombing, chinese secrets etc. and now letting ben Laden go when he was surrounded, could tumble any chance Hilliary has.

It could also ruin his quest to reroute the truth once again.

Cheney: "Yes, Tim I'll bet you dinner the Republicans retain the house and Senate"...

Russert; (while looking down and away from Cheney) "I don't bet."

Whassmatta Tim? Which is it?
1) You don't like the bet and don't want to pop for dinner when Cheney is proven correct?
2) or just don't want to engage in some joviality --like you do with almost everyone else -- with a man you so despise?
or 3)Do you really not bet?

Which is it?
Answer; 2 & 3

LOL for Cheney. Russert hopefully now regrets asking such a stupid question.

As for Cheney or any other Pubbie...they've got to be crazy to subject themselves to such demonization from the Drive By Media.

The only one who could handle it is Romney, imho. McCain would literally pop his top.

I hope many of you watched the last segment on Fox News Snday wth their "Power person of the Week." It was my good friend Jim Laychak, president of the Pentagon Memorial Fund and brother of David Laychak, a civilian contractor who was killed on 9/11. It was a beautiful segment. Jim has done an amazing job with the Memorial Fund. Please take some time to visit the website and contribute if you have not already:

I was watching Tim's body language and I think that he was intimidated by Cheney. And Cheney was calling him Tim directly which I took to be a facial. Too bad Russert isn't in season.

Cheney is the real deal all day long. IMHO.

Thanks, thought it was interesting.

I should mention that the State Dept's. thinking is that once the Saudi students are here and attend our schools they will all see how wonderful we are and all change their minds.Maybe maybe not.

I don't think it always works that way! 15,000 Saudi students could just create hundreds or even thousands of sleepers that we don't need over here!!

Even recent stats on recent border catches by the border patrol at the mexicon border stated that out of so many thousands of illegals caught crossing the border over 300 were from the Mideast!!

We are under attack and we have a slick enemy. Let's not help them along the way if we don't have to!!!

Did you also catch the point that Rumsfeld and his wife have give a $250,000 donation to the memorial? Is that something or what?

Excellent idea. Only to find such a brave candidate. Politicians learn early to not p.o. the media ("Don't take on the press. They buy ink by the barrel", etc.). Our person would have to come from somewhere other than the political arena, like a Steve Forbes (but drop the stary eyes) or Ross Perot (but without the paranoia).

I am livid (and worried) about this. DOS are out of touch. They're the damn diplomacy crowd and UN supporters.

This is outrageous, no matter the outcome.

Thanks for posting it.
